Yeah, the drama on this site reminds me of highschool. I left another forum and came here because of that kind of drama.

Anyway ill have an update in about an hour, along with comparison pics of my test plants, and plants the same age in peat pots that have been sitting in the sun. The results so far are suprising

hey! I might do an experiment just a couple of autos in some premixed soil and give them just the four or five hours morning direct sunlight that hits my balcony. Still winter here though.

I really like the fact that instead of fixing your first grow's issues, you've decided to make a far shittier grow. This says much about your thinking process, maybe too much. When you finally have your come to jesus moment, you'll have wasted years with your process. What even sadder is that other supposed intelligent people haven't noticed that this is what you're actually up to.

You better supercrop the shit out of it and veg it for months under some good lights. Even that wont guarantee shit.
My biggest grow got me 26oz of 10 plants (under 1000w cfl)... And the bud sucked... Ive had other plants that gave me under an ounce, but the best smoke ever.
Youay wanna study growing, and practice before you invest money into a failing grow operation. The amount of skill this plan of yours required is unreal."

For what feels like the millionth time.... If you think this is stupid, just shrug it off and move on. If i wanna waste a bunch of bagseed, who the fuck cares?
Of course i wont advise someone else to do this, unless they are 100% aware that its wasteful and will yeild next to nothing....
So basically you have a problem with the fact that i have advice to someone while not taking it myself?

And how exactly did i make it worse? By replacing a spotgro bulb with CFLS?
This grow is not intended to produce a high yeild or good bud. Just to see if i can finish a plant in horrid conditions. Whatever i yeild at the end will be a bonus, even if its shwag.
Of course i wont advise someone else to do this, unless they are 100% aware that its wasteful and will yeild next to nothing....

Have your corrected the limiting factor of your other grow yet? A 600 watt high intensity light and you'll find things should go more favorably. Maybe your genetics were weak too, you decide. My job helping confused people like you is thankless, at least I know this much. I have low expectations for you but I'll still try to get busy with what's relevant, unlike some.

Umm... I don't claim to be an expert but i am aware of a few things.
1) cfls CAN sustain plant life
2) the soil im using DOES keep plants alive (proof is the foliage in my yard)
3) the competition for nutes in the soil will be the plants biggest problem. Most will probably die, im aware.
The plants in the peat cups outside will be taken much better care of.
I dont claim to grow the best bud, or get the highest yeilds. I grow to have shit to smoke. This grow is me fucking around... Pretty sure i can do that.
You seem to be a smart guy, but how exactly is bashing me being helpful. Your aware of my objectives and instead of giving advice, opinions, or relaying experience, you just bash the objective.

I'd much rather help you make significant improvements w a true grow, not some dumbass experiment when you can't yet do the right thing. I'm forceful because I pegged you as very thick skulled.

What trouble with my real grow? Right now aside from this all i have is some seedlings in peatmoss cups outside.
If your reffering to the shwag i grew (the grow that was my biggest yeild) that was a while ago.
I still don't know what happened with that. It was pretty sad that i couldn't bear to smoke my own bud though. My guess is genetics. It was all bagseed.
