So, i have many people dont like to research... They just ask questions and hope someone takes them by the hand and helps them grow a cash crop.

Everyone wants a pound of weed from a 12 inch plant right?

Well im going to do an experiment. I just germed a ton of seeds. This experiment will waste a few of them but its for a good cause.

Im going to plant a few seedlings in a pot (far away from my other indoor grow) and use my backyard dirt, tap water and an incandescent bulb.

Expectations are high for this grow... I hope to yeild "bout a pound" of some fire!

I will use no nutes, and nothing but tap water and dirt. Maybe a few rocks for drainage so i can over water the shit out of them just for fun.

Anyone wanna sub to my journal?

lol. So many possible outcomes...
Im serious!

In all honesty this maybe intresting. Im going to test the limits of minimum care a plant can handle. I posted this in the Noob spot so everyone can see what happens when you take the easy way out.

Ive never done a journal but this one should be simple.

Also, my water is city water. Gas fluoride in it as well. Idk how that will effect the bud but at least my girl will have nice teeth

plants don't grow in dirt and plants don't have teeth and um.................... troll
Ummm... The teeth thing was a joke. Wow. And actually my yard dirt is fairly healthy.

Also a plant CAN grow in dirt. Just not well

When are you gonna start uploading pictures?
As soon as they sprout. Ill post updates any time something new happens. Ill be planting them in my dirt this afternoon.

he said incandescent bulb, I don't think there will be much to take pictures of
And yes there will be something to take pics of just nothing pretty.

I think my sarcasm was lost in translation.

Was just gonna say if you take pics of the dirt you plan to use that'd be wonderful. I cant wait to watch this progress.

I think my sarcasm was lost in translation. And you are growing many plants in one pot under an incandescent light for what reason again? There will be no buds. Double wow
The purpose is to find the bare minimum care required to finish a plant.

In all honesty i may use a low watt cfl. Or a 120 watt "Sylvania spotgro" which is the lowest end "gro light " i ever saw.

And ill post a pick of my dirt. I gotta run to Wal-Mart ill post the dirt when i get back. (Going for food not dirt)

The bulb will be the biggest problem by far. The amount of stretch is going to be crazy. Very long, whispy branches that won't hold their own weight.

Ive been around the block a few times but am by no means an expert. This is more for reference for those who always wanna take the easy way out.

My normal setup is cfls and scott topsoil mixed with coir and perilite. Sometimes peatmoss if i have it on hand. I dont grow to sell i grow to smoke and sometimes pass some off to friends for cheap.

This is entirely "just for shits and giggles" . if i feel the plants are going to die, i will take the minimum amount of steps to keep them alive.

I am considering 12/12 from seed because that is another way cut corners. This grow is not for yeild or quality, just to see how little effort i can put into getting a bud. If i get a few grams ill call it a success.

Sounds like a nice experiment. The incendecent bulb might be to little. The base grow light you mentioned would be best. Rocks for drainage you will need. Without that the diet might be to hard. Go for it I'm watching.(:
