took a little road trip from cen-cal to coos bay Oregon is way cool I'm recently retired & relocated to the Sierra gold country (San Andreas) love the hills it's not Oregon but it's close got kayaks, camp trailer fishing gear,boat etc, what I don't have is a led light (lol) do you have any regrets in your choice of the vipar vs the more expensive ones my friends vipers are getting good results & I'll try to get some pics soon as he is about 40 miles away I'm seriously considering the 600 vipar for my waterfarm scrog 29x29 as I've been looking at high priced ones but it seems you've done some homework & you're getting results here is this mornings pic of my 400 hps scrog I'm thinking for a single or double plant grow it would work just fine if I win the lotto I'll get a high dollar ledThank you! Oregon is a fabulous place. When we moved here a few years back, Salem was very different. If I remember right, uhaul said pdx was destination #1 last year, people are coming here in droves....Thank you! Nice! And nothing wrong with a 400w HPS at all, my 400w setup did me solid for years.
I've got a couple of friends down in Salem, thought about moving there, but they never have anything good to say, lol! Also, it kind of reminds me of a cross between Riverside and Hemet back in so-cal. Both places not very much fun to live in.
I also moved here for work. The local motto is keep Salem lame and it is only half joking. But it is gorgeous, real estate is much less expensive than Portland, and the highlights of cities were far more appealing prior to children for my wife and I. And 45 minutes to Portland is really not a big deal when something is on offer; our childless friends mostly live in Portland. Indeed, we have thought about moving a bit out of Salem, there are some wonderful little places nearby. I will also say that Salem is improving as a place to live; better food, drink, and nightlife have come over the last five years.
Nice, it's good to hear there's still some charm to Salem. I've been looking at places in Albany and some of the other cities outside of Corvallis, to keep semi local to OSU.
a picture is worth a thousand words I've been eyeballing the botanicare kind series of organic nutes for hydroponics I couldn't get the results I desired when I tried the General organics go box in e&f coco hydro is my hobby & my preferred method but on the flip side of things you are consuming this stuff & should excersise some care as to what goes into it especially when it comes to pest control I've been doing the indoor stuff about 6 years now & ever so often feel I'm in a rut so I change things up a bit which I've just done with the waterfarm & soon a led I haven't tried the general organics in dwc but have seen good reviews on the botanicare kind series I've been incorporating aurora soul synthetic nutes which is made by roots organics & not fully organic but uses kelp & guano as well as other good stuff it's giving me good results so far
I don't have much experience with liquid nutrients other than FF Big Bloom. A grower I know up here swears by an organic line called Great White.. I think that's the name but could be wrong. Glad you've find something that's giving you good results though.
