Hey all. Just cross-posting this from my other "home" at ICM to get some input from other folks who have experience with CSG gear since that particular forum is pretty slow at the moment. I'm just going to post some photos and fill in the details later for the most part, but some basic info is below.

Flowering this round:

-5 Sour Hazy Jones (with 4, maybe 5, distinct phenos) -- this is Rezdog's cup-winning Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze crossed to truecanna's Casey Jones cut

-2 Strawberries n Cream (Strawberry Cough x The White)

-1 Rainbow Jones (Grandaddy Purple x truecanna's Casey)

-3 Cheese n Chaze (Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze x UK Cheese) - two confirmed females, so that makes 10 females

I also have one nice stout, really stinky Sour Hazy Jones male that I would like to use to make some backup SHJ beans and also hit a few branches of the other plants with as well.

Basic info on the veg and flowering setup:

-Veg tent is an old as dirt sunhut that is somewhere in the neighborhood of 50x30x80" - currently doesn't have anything in it except for a few feminized freebie seedlings...Cheese, Caramelo, Grape OG, and something else that is escaping me at the moment. However, I have 5 of Mosca's C99 BX1 percolating in the flowering tent (which is really technically the veg tent currently) and hope to have room to cycle those in before it gets warm out, as this is not a perpetual grow and will move outdoors come May or so.

-Flowering tent is 50x50x78"

-2x400w (1 Hortilux MH, 1 Hortilux HPS) double stack to flower

-All plants in 1gal fabric bags with exception of SHJ, which will be transplanted to 2gal tomorrow and finished in those

-Flipping these on the 20th of January, so one week from today.

Anyways, as the title says, this is more of a hunt for keepers than a production run of any sort, so yield is really secondary. Anybody who has grown multiple phenos and multiple strains in the same cab vertically (or otherwise) knows I'm in for a battle in terms of keeping an even "canopy" (not sure if that's the correct word since this is a vertical grow and not a normal horizontal. I've got bushmonsters that are not even a foot from the top of the pot and some that are the same age which are 3 feet tall already, so this is going to be interesting to say the least.

I'm not going to bore you guys with a ton of early veg pics, so I'll start off where it began to get a bit interesting...

These are all Cheeze n Chaze #1...check out the sweet racing stripes, so purple they're gray

Couple shots of where the 3 CnC are hanging out in the tent for the time being, one of the pics shows the weird burn that happened overnight and went away just as fast...

My 3 feminized CSG girls...2x Strawberries and Cream and one Rainbow Jones

These are all self-explanatory...loving the looks of these S&C, they both have the deep purple pinstriping and red stems. These will be in 1gal pots by tomorrow night along with that last CnC I didn't get around to the other day.

My Sour Hazy Jones females...we'll just call it #1-#5 left to right to make it easy.

This is a Sour Hazy Jones (#1). This one has an incredibly awesome structure for what I'm trying to accomplish and I can already tell this one is going to blow up.

Continued....

This is the stinky broad-leafed pheno...interested to see what happens with this one especially after all the weird growth thus far. This was that runt with one leaf from the beginning of the thread, if you recall.

This is that bush monster that showed preflowers first way earlier than the rest...I know just how to deal with plants like this, and I'll start stripping leaves as soon as I get things really popping off in there.

This one looks a little sad, it didn't get much light today as it is a bit crowded in the tent currently and the rootzone is very cold...this is one of the two Light Warrior to coco transplants, so it is a bit behind its brethren (sistren?)

One last pheno...looks very similar to how #1 looked at around this development stage, and it is one of the LW>coco transplants so, again, it is a bit behind the rest. Aside from being smaller and less developed, it looks pretty damned close and might be the same pheno -- although it's way too early to tell, of course.

One last group shot while they were all together in the "big tent" -

More to come soon!

Oh, I noticed a sticky that asked people not to post in other folks' grow journals -- I don't understand why you would make that a rule, what's the point of posting it if not to get feedback?

I welcome anyone to post in here and ask questions, offer suggestions or ideas, or just shoot the shit. Come one come all!

Thanks for the post and kind words. I am all about keeping it simple and only use Canna A, Canna B, and Rhizotonic through veg. Currently they are receiving 15ml each of A + B and 10ml of Rhizotonic. For flowering it is only Canna A + B. Any other nutrient additions are for corrective reasons only. Take it easy.

Did a little work tonight...flip starts tomorrow @ 8AM for the 4x4 tent with the shiny new 600w vert HPS hanging

(excuse the lame root porn, more of a reference photo for myself)

Thanks buddy.

got up while the lights were still on, pardon the shitty photos. Did some rearranging in the vert tent, gonna end up having to cinderblock the four shortest ones to match up since there is such a huge disparity in height between the plants and I didn't plan training for this run well at all. Also did some real light pruning working my way up the sucker branches...I'll continue this over the next few days and have them ready to rock by the end of the month. Once they stop stretching I should mostly just be pulling fan leaves at that point...or should I say if they stop stretching...couple of leggy bitches in here for sure. I do tend to get a little heavy handed with my defoliation but it hasn't hurt me yet, knock on wood.

what I'm working on this evening...

FYI, this is only a bandaid fix to even the canopy out a bit since I wasn't really sure how things were going to stretch with this run.

so ya seal the little holes up with silicone/putty/whatever is safe and within arm's reach and you're good to go. didn't get a pic but you get the idea...easiest thing I could put together with what I had laying around plus a ten buck bag of aquarium stones to keep it stable. Better than a cinderblock I figure...lol

Few pics ...these girls were thirsty as shit. Still haven't had a chance to put them in the 3gals because I had less coco than I previously thought. It's also a god damned mess in there and I need to stop being lazy and shopvac that shit up and install some intake filters...

These are the 7 in the 600w tent...gonna be tying them down after they finish stretching I think. Still haven't taken clones since I plucked a few fans today, I'll do that in the day I leave town.

vegas was a fucking blast...my liver needs a timeout though, lol

did a bunch of work tonight when I got home finally -- my girl did a really great job overall of taking care of the tents. Few observations -- there appeared to be a bit of a heat issue with some of the higher buds as I didn't have the chance to tie them down at all before I left and she didn't know how to move it around to deal with the stretch, which was huge for both strains in the 600w tent but pretty mild overall for the 400w tent. I also added an extra 150w HPS I had laying around to that tent so it's now flowering under 550w total, and I have two confirmed female C99s of the remaining 3 and one that I'm sure is a female as well. Still some serious tucking and light defoliation needed in that tent over the next couple of days in addition to the fairly heavy handed lollipopping they got tonight. I dropped a T5 at the top of the 600w tent so I could start doing the work with the fluoro on and not have to wear welding goggles just to feed the plants. Seriously considering grabbing some blumats for the rest of flowering, getting too busy right now with work to be in there twice a day.

Anyhow, here are a few pics, hope everybody is doing good
