8 plant types, 400w in grow tent

I started to grow some of the free seeds from Attitude. There are 8 types currently under cfl but soon to be 400w digital hps/mh setup in a 4x2x5 grow tent. They all had tap roots after 2 -4 days in a wet paper towel and are now transferred to dirt in small jiffy pots.

Promise you the tent will be too small. I have the same one and DONT flowere after 6inches, youll regret it. Im 2 1/2 weeks in with northern lights (2 and 8 lowlife blueberry seedlings) and there NL's are allready 24-30inches. You cant go much higher as as lights concerned. Might wind up being very close in another week or two. Goodluckkk

If room is a issue Better go hiking. Find a spot. And start all 8 in the tent and put 2-4 of them outdoors. And keep 4 of your best looking ones or how many you want indoor. So you free up ur room. So each plant has room to grow.

Thanks for the heads up. I am almost out of my stash. I plan on putting them on 12/12 after about 4 inches tall. I have done that with haze plants and they reached about 3 feet tall or so.

I may order a 4x4x6 tent. Not sure if one 400w would be enough though.

Make your own tent and order a 600w.

So far so good. Some of them did not make it so i have 6 total now. 2 unknown (thought to be BCBud.

Running about 80c right now.

The big plant (Cole Train) i bent because it was getting allot taller then the rest. Put on 12/12 about 1 to 2 weeks ago. A few are showing signs of being girls.

Right now there is only 6 plants. I may only do 4 next time, but for now I don't care how small or large they are. This was a practice run with the free seeds i got from attitude. I also just noticed i did not change the bulb to MH. I will have to do that soon. I have a second MH 400w that i can throw in also but i thought that would cause the temp to rise to much, maybe I will get a bigger exhaust fan and put the second light in next time. Right now they are running about 82F when lights are on and 78 when they are off.

agreed on upgrading the light. unless you keep all 8 very small they won't be able to make great use out of the little light they have available to them

I'd say buy another 400w and get two lights in there. Top or FiM your girls so they don't grow too big and you'll have more control over the height. And IMO don't worry about getting another tent, just use mylar and tarp and you can make it as big or small as you want!

Switched the light bulb to MH 400w. After 2 days the buds are already getting bigger. I may post a few pictures later this week. The plants are stretching a little when I keep the light 1 foot away. Maybe i will move it to 8 or 10 inches and see how they do. Temps are rising to 85 when the MH bulb is on and still 78 when off. I guess it gets hotter than a HPS.

Slight smell even though i have a carbon filter. I think it may be due to the turning the filter off with the light with the vent holes on the grow tent. I have changed it to run 24/7 and i also added a ozone generator to run 45 minutes every 3 hours or so. Temps are running a little high right now. About 85F or so. May need to get a AC unit.
