I'm within a couple weeks of harvesting my first grow. 6 plants using 300 watt cfl fox farm nutrients in a DIY ebb & flow setup. Following fox farm hydro schedule slightly conservatively. I took pictures through the grow and decided to post them in case anyone is interested.:

December 7th start date

Dec 21 tried my hand at some LST'ing. A couple were accidentally topped. You live and you learn.

Christmas Day (Day 18) Plants really starting taking off

Dec 29. 3 days in to flowering. Foil was added to keep light off the roots due to algae growth.

Amazing they started showing hairs 3 days in to flowering.

Day 9 Of Flowering. Lots of new growth

January 7th About 13 days in to flowering Starting showing signs of buds and getting real big

January 12th. About 18 days in to flowering. Are those actual HAIRS! CAN'T BE

Day 19 Flowering:

Day 23 Flowering:

Flowering Day 31:

Flowering Day 42

Pretty nice grow.Im upset at the fact that you are just using cfls.I know your plants would have loved a hid whether it was mh or hps they look good tho but they could be better add some more cfls for the lower canopy.

Hey man! Check out our link, we're growing six of the same strain. I see how frosty things are already getting for you... that's how ours was too. Now it's proven- this strain is just awesome. Neat to compare the different grow methods though. They look great. :]

Do they really need another 30 days? Saw another headband grower chop them at about 60 days and hE was in soil. Shouldn't hydro be faster?

Watch the hairs, wait till about 2/3 of them are changed to amber. That's what I've read somewhere here on roll it up

Very nice clean CFL setup. Props all the way. I might recommend making it look slightly worse and adding a few CFLs lower down to help out those bottom buds. Proximity to each part of the plant is key with CFLs in my opinion.

thanks for the compliments. I know I can add a few more CFL's but this is just a learner grow. I'm just going to let it finish out the way it was built then build a second grow using some HID lights. I am trying to gauge how much more time til I should harvest.

Sadly SOME of the sugar leaves have PM on them. I've been burning sulfur and that really helped.

I've been checking the trichromes with a microscope and I saw my first amber trichrome. Most are clear and about a third are white. How do I know when it is time to start flushing?

the flowers are done when about 1/3 of trichomes turned amber. So calculate 10 days before than and start your flush for the last 10

Ok I have been running the 707 for 3 years now when you chop her makes a big difference. At as early as 55 days I have taken her.

She breaks down like this usually at 55 days all the great taste a mellow mellow effect. At 60 days same great taste the high is much stronger. At 65 days the taste gets more powerful and so does the effect at 70 days she is like ambien. Have not taken her out past 70. 70 days is some seriously strong cannabis. Now so you know I do not count the first week of 12/12 as flower time. That is a transition time from veg to flower. But truste she is killer
