Thanks for the info on Swollen Calyxes - I did not know this was part of the final stages of the plant in flower - i had been reading about the Resin Glands as the key indicator for when it's ready. How can you tell if the Calyxes are swollen and ready? Can you tell from just looking at them or is it better through a loupe which is how I took these pitcures?

I've never seen a plant finish before the breeder says it
would
I always thought that, then I started reading people's posts, of how the recommended flower time starts after the plant shows pistils. Which I feel would make more sense.

@rambo, definitely let her go 2-3 more weeks. You will know when she's swells up. The smell, the look, she will bulk up, frost up more, the hairs will look more mature.

Using that image.
The stigma, AKA: pistils or hairs, will start turning turning from white to another color and receding into the bracht, AKA: calyx/false seed pod. The brachts will then swell, then you start to look at trichomes through a loupe or higher powered magnifier for cloudy with just a few ambers, but this varies by strain.

My supposed 8 week strains all run 9 weeks, plus, till I'm happy with them.
