See post #13, this thread.

And if u r interested imo I say no not without proper data can such measurements b made....only my op...
...and you may have the cart before the dead horse. ;) You cannot get the data without the measurements. Being able to extract the hormone data IS the way to easily determine if the concept is all wet or not. My mentor did not have that data either...all he did was take 8 plants and stick them in the dark for 5 days, while putting 8 sister plants outside. He then put them back together for the final 60 or so days. Same genetics...same pretty much everything. IHisO, those that started in the dark were significantly advanced. Enough so, where it became his method for over a decade...he needed no more convincing. Pretty sure my second grow will have a side by side also. I have been made skeptical of this method just by the overwhelming opposition here but am I absolutely convinced?...No. Regardless, lets return to watching things grow at least until Mr. Supertramp responds. I am about a month away from the finish and I am so amped about it I could carry my dead horse the last 5 miles to Deadwood.

The horse is dead...However...
What say YOU to this...?

"I went 24/0 in Veg for almost 6 weeks. So I also lost over 10 days of darkness there compared to someone running 18/6. Do you think my plant hormone level was the same as someone going 6 weeks at 18/6? " Similarly, do you think I generated any additional hormones in the 69 hours as opposed to someone doing 12/12 immediately and thus half the amount of darkness in those 3 days?
Yes the plants hormone levels were about the same. And no because it takes energy to produce hormones. After about 24 hrs of darkness the plant had run out of stored energy. Research plants and their circadian rhythms and you will understand. Its not magic, its botany.

I actually have been reading about circadian rhythms...but cool, so how did you measure these hormone levels?

Went out to button up my veg cabinet early this morning after another cool night and came across an issue in my flower room... I couldn't understand it at first as I had never seen frost when it was still in the 60s...then it hit me... frost is good

LSTed the shit out of my clones that are waiting in the wings. (First time I have LSTed and Topped) Damn I wish they would slow down. I also will be culling at least 8 beautiful babies this weekend.

Today marked the end of 7 weeks so 50 days of 12/12 tomorrow. Brought pictures to my mentor this weekend to evaluate...he says 65-70 days (I was hoping for 60 :( ).

Here are some examples of my first LST job:

Just went out to check on the girls this morning after a rather cool night and spent a little time tying up some heavy buds. Now back inside I notice my fingers smell wonderful...and I seem compelled to smell them. Reminds me of coming home after my first car date.
