:leaf:WELCOME:leaf:
Hey everybody! Thanks for checking out my journal. Now that I have a few more grows under my belt it's time to go bigger. I'm talking full deep water culture , all recirculated by an inline pump.
This increases oxygen in the water, also making nutrients more efficient. Anyways, take a look let me know what you think.
:leaf:Feedback is welcome.:leaf:

- My Grow is a never ending work in progress, I am always trying to better my grow
- I will be putting in a scrog as soon as I have time, PICS will follow!

Here is a rough sketch of how the system recirculates, I guess the pics can be somewhat hard to see.

there is a 1" black tubing that runs from both of the outside buckets back through the pump and into the epicenter. Then it flows back through the pvc into the middle bucket , then sides and completes the cycle.

I tested the whole system with food coloring to see how effective the circulation was and it took about 60 seconds to be completely mixed after adding coloring and turning on the pump.

- this is a very custom setup to fit the space that I had. This whole setup was built from scratch. But it does the job!
Only wish I would have gone with square buckets... but they were hard to find at the time I was setting up.

Hey everyone, well so far this grow has not gone to plan. I had to have knee surgery a few days after I started this journal... and sadly it prevented me from getting the scrog in like I planned.

The plants have EXPLODED since I posted the last pictures. The Sour Diesel is a good foot taller than the others.... the plan to to start doing a circle with the main stalk to allow the others to catch up.

I will be flowering by next week, week and a half at the latest.

I guess not getting the scrog in isnt a huge deal as long as the plants are healthy and growing! I am going to be using plastic line to tie back the branches allowing more light to get in and remain stable once they get heavy. Soon I will also be trimming off all of the small undergrowth that won't get light.

Also, I got a Dlink wireless camera so I can check in on my ladies 24/7.... its even got that night vision. UPDATES WILL BE WAYY MORE OFTEN NOW.

Here are some pics!!

:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:UPDATE!!:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:

Hey everyone, Another update with pics!

I have continued to somewhat twist the main stalk to the Sour Diesel, topped it as well. Plants are continuing to stay healthy and growing, the northern lights seems to be the slowest time time around.

New Additions:

  • Green CFLS for working during off hours
  • 400cfm Inline fan, BEAST

I have already started reducing the hours of light down slowly... a couple hours at a time... they will be full 12/12 by Tuesday and Wednesday the HPS bulb goes in!!
I will also slowing start making to transition to flowering nutrients, I will be picking up a couple additives from general hydroponics along the way.

enjoy the pics...

Sour D is in the middle of closet, Northern Lights on left, and Caramelo on right.

Wow its been over a month and there has been a lot of growth!! The ladies are now about 3 weeks into flowering, and starting to get pretty frosty already...
The smell has definitely stepped it up as well... I think it's time to get a filter.
