Well I switched. Last night they ran 12. Left em off for 18 hours before, and have them now running 12-12 on at night. I'll take some pictures tonight.

Have a clone table in the same basement hopefully my light proofing is sufficient, I figure the pictured room is about as dark as a moon lit night in during the day. I can barely make out the plants when peeking through a peeled back slit.

First time growing from seed in DWC and first vert grow, also first true UCDWC, so far the soup is staying nice and hovering at 6.1 with res cooler set to 65. Air Temps are in the high 70 to low 80 s with humidity in the 30-40s. I realize one bulb may not work, tops of the plant may be under served, though I may just try and make Styrofoam reflector to recycle some light towards the tops.

I wouldnt bother. If anything raise that light up to the ceiling for the first 20 days. once stretch is done, lower your light back down so the socket base is even with the top colas.

I use defoliation to manage my grow. at the end of stretch (or when they are as tall as you want them to be) go through and remove all the fan leaves. That will stop stretch and let your canopy breath. Once i remove all the fan leaves, i keep removing till harvest.

Its something to look at. but keep in mind its a controversial issue. Some people swear by it, others think the first people are dumb. lol. For me personally, I like it. I ran 2 plants side by side and the one that went through defoliation yielded an extra 25 grams over the other one. the other one did as they normally do.

Well, It is probably too late, I already switched it. Since this is my first vert grow, I'l just leave it as it is for now. If they start to stretch too much, ill yank some fan leaves though. Thanks for the input, much appreciated.

Here is a current shot, the one in the front is del la haze, not doing too great but holding in there. Everything else seems to be growing well.
