600 watt bulb ?

i want to vertically hang a 600 bulb and put my ladies around the bulb... is there a way to do that without having a ballast system?

If not ... You'll need a ballast for the 600 watter.

Sorry to ask a question in someone elses thread but i have 3 E40 ballasts, no surround or anything just the plain cable plug and e40 socket, could you plug a 600w hps into that? or again would you need the proper setup for it?
