I smoked some stuff, 30 years ago, that would knock your dick in the dirt! Thai Stick, but that was dipped in Opium. Anything over about 25% is probably stretching the truth!
How would you go about smoking that? I thought opium and weed were smoked in completely different ways.

Man grew strongest ever cannabis

David Wyler admitted producing and possessing cannabis

A man has admitted growing what police described as the strongest cannabis ever found in the UK.
David Wyler, 55, of Poplar Avenue, Nottingham, admitted producing cannabis and possessing the drug as well as possessing amphetamines.
Tests on 500 cannabis plants seized at a house in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, showed they were the strongest ever found in the UK, Derby Crown Court was told.
Police believe he made £500,000 out of drugs. Wyler will be sentenced later.
The house in Ilkeston was entirely given over to producing cannabis plants, the hearing was told.
Test carried out by forensic scientists on the plants showed the THC content, a measure of the drug's strength, was 29%. The normal reading for cannabis is 12%.
Police seized £30,000, which was in the possession of Wyler, along with three cars.
 
hahah yea like 2,000 posts in only a couple months damn bro.. if u keep a plant under 24hrs of light it will veg forever.. and yeah theres no bud thats 52% thc think about that it would be like literally white weed there would have to be so many trichomes.... and the only way to test the % is a gas chromatograph or some shit ? which is probably not easily attained .. so i have no idea what the highest % ive ever smoked was. the only places ive seen the % listed is in magazines and occasionally on a jar from a club but ive had so much unlabeled bud over the years no telling which was the highest thc content..

The THC Percentage game is amusing. The THC is 29% of WHAT? Surely not of the total plant weight. A 1g joint with .29g of THC would render you Unconscious before you'd finished a quarter of it. The only reasonable assumption is that THC percentage refers to the total constitutes of the plants oils. In which case, THC is not all-inclusive to potency since there are several other chemicals that effect the high. Also, if that were the case hash wouldn't increase the THC percentage, only the presence of all the oils in relation to plant material.

Im very confused as to what the percentages mean and as to where they all started.

A plant can be kept indefinately alive, with a lot of careful work, and it will not loose potency but it also will not gain potency. And you can clone indefinately and it will not loose any potency either it's all the same, it's the same plant either way and never becomes something else.

But weed 30 years ago was not quite as good as what's been bred since then, though there sure was chronic as far back as is known this plant has been cultivated by humans for thousands of years and breeding never was rocket science a caveman could have cultivated fields and seen certain plants do better than others and only kept planting seeds from the best ones, that's all it takes.
(yes I know cavemen didn't cultivate anything I'm just saying...)

THC (tetra-hydro-cannibol) is one of over 400 cannibols present in the cannabis plant and is responsible for the 'high' associated with smoking cannabis.​
It is present in all cannabis plants, male and female but in varying quantities. Canabis with a low THC content will have a weak effect. The other cannibols present will be responsible for a heavy, sleepy stoned effect.​
To produce plants with a useful percentace of THC, they need to be of the correct strain. Cannabis plants found wild (ditch weed) will have little facility for producing THC. Commercial liscenced hemp plants also have a low THC content.​
The male plants are also of low THC content and only the unfertilised female plants contain usable quantities of THC in their thrichomes.​
The THC levels increase through the female plants flowering season. The trichomes (found on leaves but mainly on the buds) will be producing maximum THC when the stigmas (hairs) on the calyx start to change from white/yellow to brown.​
