This is one of the most rewarding hobbies ever but one of the most torturing at the same time. Growing from seed is a long-ass few months when ur dying to get ur hands on those beautiful buds! And to make it even worse, then you have to wait a couple more months if you want a good cure outta them. A lotta peoples buds go up in smoke way before they reach thier potential. I know I've been guilty! +rep back to you.

LoL, yea hes going to be waiting a while!! You should give him the option to just take his portion after drying that way you can cure yours and his will be gone haha..

Get him to study some RIU maybe the forums can help your buddy grasp a few things I have noticed that "investors" have issues in grasping.

My favorite one being curing, they thing you just dry it out and smoke it real quick... hey toss it in the microwave it'll dry out real quick... When in fact proper curing can mean the difference between your hard work going to pot... or having some great friggin' pot. That and curing math is hard, the thicker and denser the cola the longer it'll take for a proper cure. For example my strain I call GimpP (mystery bag seed experiment) ended up being fluff bud to due... well she was a testimony to what a plant can survive. And then theres my sour diesel... little buds the size of your thumbnail and when dried fully solid as timber. The preferable choice of bud growth the sour diesel ends up taking me NEARLY 3 months to cure properly and extensively. While the blasted GimpP fluff was cured in 2 and 1/2 weeks... boy that first harvest was a severe test of my patience.

The trick once you get started into this is to grow enough bud that you have plenty to smoke on while growing out ur new girls. That way the temptation to "speed the process up ourselves" is greatly reduced. If I had it my way I'd drop a bean in the soil right now and there would be a pound of perfectly cured fire hanging off it by the time I get home from work this afternoon! But if pot worked like that then maybe I wouldn't even be going to work today cause I would only work an hour a week and every friday a paycheck would show up for 40 hours. . .I'm geting out there now. I just hit a bowl full of cheesus.

well, not much to report yet, but atleast i can see some progress with the blue mataro. the shell has cracked and started to open, the kushwidow is still just showing the little tail, maybe tomorrow they'll both be ready for the soil, lets hope!!

great stuff guys, but there is no hope for this guy, LoL and keep hoping for that mass, LoL.

im also gonna use molasses on this grow, heres a link to grandma's molasses and it has a $1 off coupon.

Hell yea, molasses is the shiz!!

I did notice there are a bunch of little white bugs in my soil the other day though.. I'm wondering wtf they are and where they came from.. There's nothing on the plant itself that I can see, just in the soil..

Anyway congrats on the germination :) Almost past the hard part.

CD, i never had sucess doing the pre-germination methods.i just drop them in rockwool cubes in 2 days they sprout.remember i told u i placed two different orders from attitude like 12 different strains and i fucked them all up doing pre-germination. noob mistakes. i only have 2 out of 12 strains left:wall: the ones that made it i did not germinate.

treez i noticed a couple of white bugs in my coco also. i throw my mothers outside for a couple hours each day to soak up that hott as sun and i dont care much about the bugs.one day high as helll i was stariing at my plants and noticed those white bugs jumping around all over my coco. it was not that many but i was like what the hell.when i water the plants they dissapear for a lil then come back jumping around the surface of the pot.

man, ive always done it this way with the wet paper towels and never had any problems, im starting to get a little worried now, it has never taken this long. the kushwidow has atail sticking out, so i think it will go in later today, but im sweatin on this blue mataro.

heres alittle thing on pests, Plant Pests

i would plant them already, but thats just my opinion. ive read alot alot about germinating seeds. and most ppl germinate when they have old seeds that might not be viable anymore. most seed companys sell viable seeds. remember that the seeds uve been using are bag seeds.they probablly need the extra work to sprout but those seeds u bought should be fresh. i know the feeling of loosing exspensive strains/seeds. it breaks your heart. trust me.

are you going to keep these as mother plants? or just a one time thing going straight into flower?
