45 Watt led enough?

Sure can.....the only thing I changed was running another 5k bulb in place of a 2700k bulb...then changed it back when I flipped to flower....

@Tim Fox.....I went overboard too...here is what I ripped out before the cobs....and thats about half of what I had total...So count me in for 25 or so too! :)

I keep getting SO MANY different opinions about lumens................
Was told 6500 for veg and 2700 for flower.....................
THEN I have seen this several places...................The ideal lumen per square foot for vegetative growth is 3-5000 lumens per square foot and 5-7000 for bloom.
WHAT IS IT???????????? Dont mean to be stupid but man Im confused...........AGAIN

6500 and 2700 is the "whiteness" or "color temperature" of the light coming from the bulbs or Leds,, Lumens are a differant measurement, most people associate lumens for how "bright" the light is,, you can have a 2700K bulb that puts out 10,000 lumens, for instance, does that help?

I think what I meant to say was 6500K light for veg and 2700K light for bloom.............
THEN I saw Abiquas grow with FIVE lights total and was blown away by it.............its on page 1 of this thread and I think Im gonna do it EXACTLY as he did
I think I understand what youre saying Tim...........I have been reading and watching videos for HOURS..........
Tomatoes should sprout by next week...........can they go straight to big pots or do they need a larger one then the FINAL big one?
Thanks for your help-Tim and everyone!

take this bulb for instance
9 Watt CFL - 2700K Warm White
40 W Equal - 2700K Warm White - 80 CRI - 58 Lumens per Watt - 12 Month Warranty
its warm white at 2700 k, great for flowering , and it puts out 58 lumens times 9 , or about 540 lumens, you would need 10 of these for 5400 lumens total, see how it ads up? the 2700 K is just the color temperature of the light you see its Warm,, instead of Bright white the 5500 K bulbs are bright white

personally I would transplant at little as possible, get them into the final size pot as early as you can, and yes, the brighter whites like 5000-6500 for veg and 2700 thru 3500 for bloom,, but here is the real nipple twister,, you can grow and bloom with both shades of white, it does work, just its slightly better to switch color temps for the 2 differant cycles

some people cant afford multiple bulbs,, those who can only chose one shade will go with the bloom bulbs , and just veg under those ,, the only change is the light cycle timings 18/6 for veg and 12 / 12 for flower

WHEW.............i understand but I think I was basing everything on 2700 and 6500 KELVIN.............
Abiqua used 3 WW 9.5 2700K LED's..............1 SW 9.5W 5000K LED and 110.5W 3000K LED
Maybe Im confusing MYSELF with watts and lumens

I hate to bug people and you dont know how much I appreciate it!
I HOPE to have more questions next week! Sprouting under a dome now-do i need to keep them constantly wet till they sprout?

Tim Fox

Number one mistake in sprouting is over watering, your choice of sprouting medium, should provide sufficient moisture till you see roots, the dome traps that moisture and keeps the temps up

I have a stealth pc grow box with 45 watts of led in there. I was gonna grow the strain L.S.D. Will 45 watts be enough to have a good grow? I was thinking of adding either a uvb light to increase thc production and potency, or should I add another light. I am going to grow one plant,
Youll never have a good or real grow in a pc grow box
