I only foliar feed every 3 or 4 days

I've recently replaced both my ph meter and my temp/humidity gauge and havent seen a difference in any numbers

Although I havent tested ph runoff with the new guage. Even though there should be a difference Il do that next watering

I've been using earth juice nutes for years and never had an issue with it

Also of course fresh air is replaced within the tent, exhausting air through carbon filter from inside top of tent and out of room through bedroom window

Air cooled tube is about 22" inches from plants

Led cob's are about 30" from plants

have you considered rinsing your leaves & stopping the foliar feeding for awhile ? I've always done root or foliar but never both was thinking maybe the light hitting un absorbed residue left on your leaves could maybe the culprit just a long shot my plant is enjoying the cooler weather

Problem isn't getting any better unfortunately. Tough watching them deteriorate.

Nute burn! I did the same thing to my Agent Orange...Soil grow, not enough soil in the 5 gallon cloth pots and too much nutrient...And it isn't recovering...Likely lockout!

Compare the Nute burnt Agent Orange and The Black....Both started as clones same time and same tent, same notes and calmag feed....

Hopefully yours recovers

Cheers

thanks for the reply @ktmac20, wow that definitely looks similar. Tough one to say. I'm pretty confident its not an N burn, its starting at the middle of the leaf and not the tips. I only fed with half dose strength N once. I dont fertilize until I'm a few weeks into flower because ffof is hot. I couldn't find any information on P or K toxicity's. Did yours start browning in the middle of the leaf? I only fed them a few times, half of the recommended strength half often. Very well could be though, I appreciate the input thanks man!

Yellowing that starts at the middle and has that stripey look is a magnesium deficiency. A P deficiency would look similarish but you'd see some reds and stuff in the middle of the leaf. The crinkly burnt looking leaf ends can be caused by K deficiency but also heat stress and N burn. What did you say your room temps are?

"Temp: 70-81* F

Humidity: 30-45% roughly

Ya
Maybe up whichever of your nutes contains potassium?
thanks for the advice Roy! I think I will. Not much to lose at this point. Still got another day or two before they need watered again, Il probably start brewing the nutes today. Have you ever seen or heard of a potassium or phosphorus toxicity?

I hate to see sick plants, especially when they were so healthy and thriving.

I have read through the recent part of the journal and listened to you all. Good info being discussed.

If this were my grow, I would make some ph7 water up, lightly pour it on everywhere, evenly spread so you don't get any dry pockets, then wait half an hour. Then flush. Drain them properly.

Then whilst they are draining, back the lights off a bit. Just give them some time to recover. Have all the lights like 3ft away for a week. Try and raise rh slightly whilst they recover.

If you are feeding your plant say ph 6.4 and your run off is 6.3, maybe try feeding them ph 7 instead of ph 6.4. Reason being if the ph drops and your run off is 6.3, you maybe be able to get it to drop from 7 to 6.3. That would then help some of the vital nutrients that get taken at higher ph levels to be used. There are mobile and immobile nutrients that have a peak uptake ph level. There is a chance your plants are not uptaking the nutes closer to 7. 6.3 - 6.4 sounds close to 7, but it ain't really in ph terms. If your ph drops when you feed, start high at 7. If it rises when you feed, Start low, like 6.3 (:

To me, the grow looks like a bit of light burn. Can a plant handle that much light at that distance if it's in perfect health? Yes. If it's not in perfect health, maybe not. It probably want a cloudy day and rain tbh.

Backing the lights off will give the plant a chance to spend a few extra days drinking the water. I'd even consider turning off the hps for 48 hours and just running the cobs.

The plants are probably drinking quite fast, maybe drinking water faster than they are uptaking nutrients, then causing toxicity in turn.

Recently I grew 3 auto's and did a very heavy bat guano feed, ended up burning the hell out of them. Then suddenly got crispy leaves, curling up, same kind of patches that looks like light bleaching. After flushing the plant was almost immediately back on track. The buds turned out nice.

Definately give them a few days off and plenty of water. Get some things that are immediately avaulable like epsom salts, worm castings teas, sea weed etc. Thing with low n-p-k that plants really like.

In England we have alg-a-mic which is mainly sea weed. Something like n 0.1 p 0.1 k 0.1 But the plants love it! You can get them right back on track. Adding something like this would stop the plants yellowing after the flush. I'd normally add one of the listed things 24 hours after a flush. At a very light dose too.

awesome stuff. Thanks fevs! Definitely great input and plan. I have also been thinking light burn, at first sight it looks like it for sure. I havent considered shutting of the hps, sounds harmless though and would only help to ease their healing and give them some time to rest some what. Thanks for the great ideas and considerations man I really appreciate the reply!

Sorry for the delay in response...

I posted the pics because I figured they would be a great example.of two different strains getting the same care...

So I will.try to make this somewhat short...I first started to notice the leaves becoming dry, crispy and pale green starting from the tips, edges and working its way in towards the plant...I knew it wasn't for.lack.of water...then they started to brown or golden, not yellow again following the same pattern of the lighter green before, going from the tips and edges and working the discoloration back towards the stem. If you look at the pics you can see how the leaf nearest the stems are still.green.

I fed Supernatural grow.Terra during veg, one feed, next watering I added cal mag, next water just plain h20. My ph was balanced and normal, I don't check ppm.

Once I flipped the lights I did transition to Bloom Terra and superlicious as.soon as stretch finished and flowers started to show, about 7 days.

Everything was going well until about 2 weeks into flower...that is when I started to notice the change in the health of the Agent Orange. I slowed feeding and just watered with plain h20. It continued to fail.

Both of these plants are clones from my outdoor plants from this.summer. The Agent Orange was even finicky outdoors, it stretched at the same.time as The Black but then stalled before flowering for about 4 weeks. It was a late finisher and actually it started to attract rot. I had to cut it before it finished as the weather was nasty here again it was 4 weeks behind . I got a great harvest from the outdoor The Black as it finished on time as expected. I am thinking that this specific Agent Orange may just have a genetic defect and is a weak plant!

So again just saying, both plants were fed, watered and grown the same way...one failed and one is rocking the flower.

One thing I did notice about The Black is that it has developed much different inside.under HPS than it did outside under.sunlight.

Outside was grown.in 90+* sunshine and Temps leading to fluffier flowers. The indoor HPS plant has huge dense colas and not as purple pretty flowers. My avatar is the outdoor flower.

Hope this helps some.

Cheers

Potassium definitely. Too much potassium can cause lock outs of calcium and magnesium. I've never had an issue with too much phosphorus, so I'm a little inexperienced with what that is like.
