I am growing habenero and serrano peppers (6 total plants). Right now I am vegging them out with 8 24 watt T5's in a 22 gallon DWC type system. They are just starting (no pictures).
I have a 250 watt HPS, but can get a 400 watt for pretty cheap from a friend. I am pretty new to all of this and I figure that the peppers are a flowering plant similar to the forums primary focus.
My question is, how much square footage will a 400 cover compared to the 250?
While I know this is not exactly a vegetablecentric board, you guys all seem to have a great understanding of how all this stuff works. I really do appreciate all of the knowledge you freely share with us noobs!
