Probably why your watering everyday then. Mine have just been repotted. Only a month old and are in 5 gallon pots hence why I'm saying everyday for me would be too much...

If you're going to treat your coco like soil - then why didn't you use soil? Coco is hydroponics and should be fed daily to 20% runoff. This replenishes the nutes and pulls in fresh oxygen to the root zone. If daily feeding is a chore, perhaps a different grow method would be appropriate. I think you have too many plants in a 4x4 tent with a 600w light. I do a scrog grow with only 2 plants under a 600w LED and yield over a pound. You can do SOG but not a scrog with that many plants.

I totally understand the peeps that r saying they water every day......but......imo they have their grow properly dialled in and no exactly when and how much their plant will need.......you on the outher hand r relitivly New to coco and your plants r relatvly young and r in big pots, for this reason I reckon u aren't doing that much wrong.....for plants of your size and pots of your size it SHOULD take a couple of days to dry out,as your plants get bigger the times for water will enevitably change until eventually you WILL need to water every day....peeps say u CAN'T over water in coco but I disagree with that assessment......personally I like to do most of my training (topping, pinching, lst, ect)when the plant's r in their smaller pots,it gives the roots a better chance to bounce back after stress when the plant has a complete root zone where as if you train just after potting up its trying to grow and repair. ....personally I would have plants the size of yours in one gal pots and would top and pinch until they recover and then I would pot them up into their 25 ltr (5.6 gal)pots, this way I feel I have better control ....I have to comment on the amount of plants u have in a 4×4 space.....9 plants will be fine for a sea of green (sog)small plant's but if your gonna veg them for much longer,I fear you r gonna give yourself a lot of probs,if I were u I'd forget about a scrog,to many plants for that, veg for another 2 weeks then flower you will STILL be struggling for space but this I feel would be your best scenario. .....best of luck my freind.....

I use 50/50 Coco perlite. Watered everyday in flood /drain resivior have since it came out of the humidty dome. It's pretty hard to over Water coco in cloth pots.
So tell me, in his circumstances should he water till turnoff every day?....how would his pots EVER dry out and how would his plants airaite. .?

I'm not saying he should wait till his pot is bone dry......I water going on WEIGHT. ....if top layer (1 inch) is dry but below is moist then it's ready for water........so just to clarify would you guys say he should water even when his coco is still saturated. .....?

Yup, flush out those old used nutrients and replenish with new fresh ones every day, coco is a hydroponics substitute if you treat it like dirt you will get soil results, treat it like hydro you will get hydro results.

Exactly... to a degree. This applies if you've potted up correctly... The root should be using up the space or close to it to draw the nutrients. In this case if he has potted up correctly then he should be watering his coco correctly. If you treat coco like soil then you will get worse than soil yields as the ph fluctuates causing all sorts of nutrient problems

Some Great replys guys.....I've done a couple of runs with coco now and have had some descent results (pretty much same as before when I grew in quality soil).....I was watering every second day with a little over a tenth of what the pot size is (25 ltr pot=3 ltr water)after hearing wot u guys have said I'm seriously considering moving to an every day watering. .......the only thing concerning me is giving my plants so much food(canna coco)my ppm is 900,ph is stable at 5.7 which I was pretty happy with, if I were to feed and water this amount every day would this not have a negative effect on my plants(burn)....how would u guys go about feeding using the canna line up(a+b,cannazym, calmag, canna boost)25ltr pots,do I stick to their schedule or give half.I've just started flower (5 days)strains r UK cheese, blue cheese, and a couple of outher seeds I had lying about ww,amnesia xxl (auto freebie)and tripple cheese.....

If you are concerned about over feeding, lower your nutrient dose until you feel confident to increase the dosage, happy growing and good luck.

Another option is just do 1 plant with the increased frequency of water/nutrients and see how you like it, if it hurts that one plant it's not a total loss but if it turns out better you can do it for the rest next run.
