4 weeks flowering sour diesel growth ph flowering time question

Ok Check it out heres some more pictures updated from today and the other day so let me know if you saw any progress at all. or what the story is.. I really appreciate all your guys responses.

Ay so. I wanted to know bout the final stage if the bud stops growin and ripens hardens or whatever

So I wanted to know if I can tell if it's getting to late to harvest does a plant show any specific signs as to when it's late harvest and degrades a lot. I know it's possible to harvest to late

how many weeks flower now? what percent are your amber trichs compared to clear and white? what color are your pistils and what percent of this color are they?

also does it look like its ready to smoke, like when you buy it. you need to research the flower time of sour diesel then use common sense and good judgment. you could also at different times and then grow the same strain next time and remember which flower time you liked best.

Yeah deez has a longer time then usual 9-12 weeks I got 2 of the same strain growing of sd one looks like it's on time still all white stigmas but the one I was concerned about is 50% white about I mean it's been real slow for a bit leaves yellowing out and i can't tell if they are swollen swelling nemore I mean I'm just worried I am gonna over do it and thc will degrade on me. My patience isn't a problem I could wait as long as I need to but now it's just a natter of knowing if I should flush or continue to feed accordingly. I don't want to end up wit a crappy diesel that taste horrible. That would defeat the purpose of sd taste amazing high thc content. How would I really know besides trichome and pistils I mean I see some amber trichomes not many unless I'm not looking enough places don't wanna cut off tips to see trichomes if it affects the bud growth. From what u see in te pics does it look somewhat done. I've been researchig for years and doing yhi for awhile and still don't feel confident about harvest time this Is my Only real weakness

Oh I know and understand that and over the years been trying to get good at spotting them but now that I look I did see some earlier but now I see few. Do they sometimes amber early and they still aren't ready. I'm just trying t see if they are going to add weight or get denser before I harvest. Wanna get the best tasting smoke as well

you have to listen to your plant. if it is ready to harvest then harvest it. you know the signs of what to look for. the 9 to 12 weeks is a broad view of the strain. if your shit is half and half then it is time to harvest....you know that. your plant is the same as your body. you have to be able to read it. if your hungry you get something to eat. if you need to take a dump, you don't say should i sit on this and see if my turds can get bigger. just like your body your plant has used all the nutes it can and is ready to come out....trust your gut. the only thing we do wrong in growing weed is second guessing yourself...

Hehehe stop wigging out bro.They will be fine if some leafs are yellowing either your not feeding enough or your feeding to much,in most cases people tend to overdo it with nutes,you already flushed which is good, so drop the concentration of your nutrients and feed with plain water until things get back on track or viceversa if your are underfeeding.Thc doesn't degrade overnight so don't worry.

Not saying you arent on 4 weeks but NORMALLY from my experience (which isnt nearly that of others on here) trichs never even come close to turning amber after only 4 weeks. Plants look great but you have got to be closer to week 5 or 6 IMO

i agree with superdave, are you sure you arent looking at the hairs? they begin to turn amber during week 3-5 in most cases. the trichs look like little mushrooms when looked at under a 10x magnifying glass.

No I'm looking at trichomes like I said earlier I know wut to look for as far as trichomes. I mean Now they are about week 5-6 and just still look the same. I just don't want it to be a waste if I wait to long or not enough for the final product to just not smell or taste good. Now I look at trichomes and still a lot cloudy maybe the amber ones I saw really weren't as amber as I thought or jusy fell off cause I don't are that Many nemore maybe it was an OD of nutes that made it happen idk but hopefully I get some more weight at least. Cuz fuck the hairs and how brown they are. I still see white stigmas not many but some. My other sd is still fully white this one no They were at same time flowered

yes you need to be looking at trichomes, but hairs can be amber...depends on the strain.

I know I may seem like a big douche bag. But I've been growing for a bit and Sour Diesel is my favorite strain and I finally got to grow it so I want the best I can get. So just bare with me if I asked 5900 questions. So lemme ask. Once a plant has almost ended it's life do the trichomes all before amber or will there be cloudy ones forever just out of curiosity

It depends if you let it go till all the trichomes are amber then they will all amber up.
Hey sorry if you mentioned before but did your girls come from seed???When you grow from seed every strain has many different phenotypes,that is why plants of the same strain finish at different times.Just thought I 'd mention it since you mentioned 1 of your plants looks like it's further than the other.

Yes seed I figured because they both hav different phenotype looks different a lil so figures. Maybe I overfed them which I tried avoiding but dang that Big Bud super strong might be. I mean leaves could turn yellow due to overfeedinf if I'm not mistaken so I gave em all nice flush to rid of all excess nutes hopefuly it will stabiliZe a little

I wish I knew more about indoor to help you out, but to my understanding your supposed to harvest when the trichs start to amber, maybe you could give them a bit longer of a light cycle so they have more time to fatten up...Them Bitches look Bangin tho!

Thanx dude much appreciated. So what's this I hear about mote light. What like another hour. But then again if will affect the other plants growth just curios maybe I'll give it a shot. Wut u think
