I think you should add the lec 315 with cmh bulb to your considerations.
It says the initial lumens is 33,000, where as an 600w HPS has 90,000. How is the lec 315 with cmh bulb getting the same results with less lumens?

I wouldn't say they get the same results but 3x3 is small for 600w, while the 315w fits good on 3x3 and uses only about half the power. The cmh has a more plant friendly spectrum. I'm pretty sure I've seen cmh bulbs up to 38k but lumens don't mean that much when you compare different lights. If you had like a feet more space, like 3x4 or 4x4 a 600w would probably produce more. But in 3x3 both the 600w and 315w will be good for about a pound. I'm just saying I think you should at least consider it.

The lec 315 with cmh bulb is not as efficient as LED because, If the lec 315 with cmh lamp only last 20,000 hours and cost $600 plus a ballast. The LED cost $1,000 and last 50,000 hours. LED would be at least $200 cheaper in the long run.

I know I said cost is not an issue, But I meant the initial cost is not an issue. I'm looking for the most efficient light source for my 3x3 space; cost, Heat, lumens, color spectrum, life hours of lamp/ bulb/ ballast, and watts all come into play.

I'm thinking the LED will be the most efficient for my 3x3 space.

You would only have to replace the cmh bulb for $80 or so to last another 20k hours though.

But if savings on the long run is a concern I agree led is the most efficient option. Don't know if that particular led is then a great option 600w hps is a bit of overkill for a 3x3 and harder to tame temperatures especially in summer. On a small space like that the difference between the cmh and led isn't going to be huge either way.
