well i was hoping it had more time because they didnt look very swollen yet i was hoping for a little more yield. Also I guess im going to by a scope of some sort so i know i am doing it right no more guessing for me this is my fourth grow and i believe i pulled all my plants too early so to prevent that im just going to have to buy the scope. Thanks for the idea with the cfl tho i enjoy learning new technique so i can adapt them and or use them in a way to help my grow. knowledge is power. Thanks again

For sure bro, I'm the same way.
Almost all the advice I get I change.

I need to find a cheapo 20x-30x scope.

Yo try rotating your plants, or put that left one on the right side.
It looks like your HPS is tilted towards the two bigger plants, which could be why they're bigger.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but 'no pest strips' will not get rid of fungus gnats, at least not the variety I have here. I'm in a cge environment, meaning The no pest strips can actually build up in there, but it will not get rid of fungus gnats. I use mosquito dunks for the gnats. I put it in a nylon sock, crumble it up and submerge it in my res. In your case you can crumble it up a bit and mix it with your feed water and sprinkle some of the dry mosquito dunk over your soil.
The no pest strips work (should work) for spider mites, if they don't you are venting to much for the product concentration to increase in your grow space.

Good luck!

Ive always just sprinkled the Mosquito dunks on top and it works to a degree. I will try it in my feed water and that should make the difference.
Thanks!

I have the light tilted up higher on the larger plants side because the pots are much bigger so the plants naturally grew taller and wider. I have all plants about as close as they can get without getting burnt the one is about an inch away from touching the glass but the way it is setup its not very hot even that close.

first of all you all should be using reverse osmosis water not city, for frig sakes. most of these problems can be traced back to the water they use. Distilled and ph'd or r.o. City water contains a slew of contaminants your plants (not only bud) hate and will kill them. Chlorine is very bad for clones as well.
Also use adequate sized pots if in soil
your plants will get root bound before you know it and your plant will get scraggly and grow shit bud.

Good luck and all the power to you.

Can anyone help me diagnose what this problem is? These plants are 3 weeks one day into 12/12 and they are under a 1kw HPS. I feed them general Hydroponics nutes every 6 days at full strength and every 3rd day i water with plain ph balanced water. I noticed these spots about a month ago and just decided to watch them but they never seem to hurt the plant but they seem to be getting worse so i want to see what it is now. The seeds were just some bag seed that im growing to get better at growing so i can feel comfortable using the carameliscious seeds i bought. Anyway here are the pics i took today some are just of the plants. All help is appreciated.
