will the yield of a plant decrease if planted straight into big pots, also if lst'ing how do you transplant?

You should wait until the roots have grown out a bit bigger in the pot that lsted plant is in then to transplant it shouldn't take more then 10 minutes, so when you do transplant it cut the cord or what ever is holding the plant bent then plant it into the new bigger pot then tie it back in the same form in the new pot
