350+ Soiled/Hydro Tomatoes in Homemade Organic Composted Soil

Well I said it 350+ tomatoes in my own Homemade "organic" soil in a Hydro system. Most people think I went crazy when i started this many plants but it is a good source of cheap easy income and a good test system for future grows in my opinion.

Ok, here are some pics from about a week ago when the seedlings popped. Since i'm out of town until after the 4th i wont have any new ones up until then. Hopefully they make it until then. Since i took the pics i've transplanted them into 3in pots and set them in place in the box srry about not getting a good pic of it at the time because it is still UC. But they should be ok till i get back got my neighbor to watch them for me because he wanted some when they get to a good size. The 1st and 3rd pic are the maters and the 2nd is of the compost bin.

Nice! But where are you going to plant them all? That's going to require a lot of ground cover, isn't it?

You might wanna be setting up tons of Screens for these to climb. Screen of Red Ornaments?

Hey, thanks for posting everyone pics are coming soon camera broke and is being repaired so won't have it back for about a week. tomatoes are doing good had a few problems during a couple of days of heavy rain and killed a few of them. But still got about 325. Because of the rain not much work got done but i did get the watering system worked out mostly.

Here is a Paint pic a whipped up to show how it works and a almost got finished with it until I found a hole in the res so i have to get some patching supplies and fix it this week and get the filter box mounted and res working right so for right now it is running of a hose from the house and all the nutes are hand feed for now until finished. I know it is not the best thing in the world nor is it the prettiest. It was cheap and used available materials i had on hand so far I've only put $35 into and most of that was for the plywood. Everything else I got of the cull lumber rack at local hardware store.

So if anyone is following this please be patient pics will be more frequent once the camera is back. So in the mean time any question you have I will try my best to answer.

What a faggot thread this turned out to be...

Thread is closed plants died after returning from my trip bugs had taken over and killed all of the tomatoes. PLus with the inconsistent weather lately they had petered out and stop growing do to unusually hig htemps inthe high 90's with low humidity sorry for all that were following maybe next spring i will get better results.

If you live anywhere in the south it'll be fine-- they grow pretty quick. You're going to be pretty damn busy when they get established and start producing! Good luck with you maters man, cheers.
