I only ran h2o2 in the temp res for the 3 days to clean everything up. When I made them their new res I used hydroguard and great white. Can't use h2o2 with that because it kills the beneficial bacteria.
Yea it looks like I'm hanging up my beneficial bennies and sticking to peroxide with the addition of the cooler.

I am giving one more shot at bennies with the new RO system. If it happens again I am just gonna go the h2o2 route for the rest of this grow. I'll try bennies again on 2nd grow after I can take everything a part and give it a proper sterilization with new plants.

Hopefully I can even finish this grow, my plants look terrible right now

Success can be had either route

I don't like the idea of relying on peroxide, but I only have about 4 weeks to finish, hoping it can crutch me there.

Reason I say that is I have a big known factor that can be causing my issue, where you have already corrected that.

Thanks for the tips, I do have a RO filtration system coming today in the mail so that is handled. What do you recommend I do with the dead looking roots, should I leave them alone or cut them off at the bottom of the bad roots? See image:

those roots look good to me they're stained by the micro but they look alive you might want to sit back & wait plants need some bacteria to sustain life until I seen actual negative effects on my leaves & new growth I wouldn't do a lot of major changes sterilization don't discriminate between good & bad bacteria

I'm with herk id leave them. Imo if they are dead they wouldn't really need to be cut but would probably come off with barely a tug.

Just got done installing the water RO system to the kitchen sink. Gotta go through a few cycles of fill/rinse before I can use it so probably gonna be tomorrow before I can add the new RO water to res.

Reverse osmosis? You already have it but that can bring its own part of difficulties. I believe it removes a lot of the natural minerals ect in our water. So you need to make sure to add the proper amount of good ones back in.

Yes I ordered it from Amazon this morning and it came later in the day. Gotta love same day shipping. Ive already got cal/mag that I never opened from the beginning of the grow. I bought it just in case I needed it. So I am all set for RO once I am done filling and purging the ro tank a few times.

How fast does that fill? I'm going through over a gallon a day per plant. Is it gonna take an hour to fill your buckets by the end?

Make sure your sterilize when switching to RO. You might not be adding any but there is obviously bacteria on and in your roots. After a couple days of peroxide then start your bennies if you wish. IMO

It has a 5 gallon pressurized tank. That takes about 3 hours to fill. Once its filled it doesnt take very long to empty it since its pressurized. I only put 5 gallons in my res so it shouldn't be a big deal. Especially if I am only topping off 1 to 2 gallons a day later on.

They are currently sitting in a res that contains: HydroGuard, Hygrozyme and nutrients. The hygrozyme has only been in there for like 4 hours and I am already noticing a huge difference. What I planned on doing is making up a small 1gallon bucket of diluted h2o2 + ph water and letting my plants sit in that for maybe an hour before I put in the new res.

The new res will consist of ro ph + hydroguard + hygrozyme, which I will brew for 24 hours before adding the plants. Hoping all this will solve my issues.

Oh and I am installing my top feed drip system back in as well. I was thinking of maybe in the new res running h2o2 for 3 days with the top feed before adding my bennie brew. Actually I think I will do this, probably a good idea.
