This in itself could be good news
As long as it doesnt get worse or regress I'm willing to wait it out. I have more seeds ready to start germinating if the plants don't look like they are going to recover.

The seeds I am currently using are just "Pure Indica" from ILGM, but I also have some Jack Herrer and Northern Lights x Big Bud from Seedsman on stand by. I'd probably do the Northern Light X BB next. I heard they are a much more durable and forgiving strain.

Hopefully it won't come to that & we will see something positive in about 4 more days my current strain is jack herer -x- blackberry so far they've been easy to grow

Here is a side by side of the right plant. These pictures are taken 24 hours apart:

I can't really see any new yellowing from them so it looks like I have that at least under control.

it almost looks to me like the yellowing is reversing, or at least some parts are getting darker green, maybe just the lighting or something. hopefully in the next day or 2 you start to see some good growth!!

Day 36
7-20-2017 : 5:00pm

5.0 Gallons
air temp: 75f
water temp: 65f
ppm: 690
ph: 6.56

Notes:
- The ppm and the ph shot up quite a bit from yesterday, the water is starting to look cloudy as well.
- I am starting to see growth, no new yellowing

I think I should probably change the res out. The dead part of the roots look slimy but its more a clear slime rather than dark amber color. The cloudy water is new since yesterday. I have been still adding h2o2 but at 5ml a day. I was planning on changing the res out tomorrow and starting on the bennie tea I am brewing but that needs another 24 hours still. Not sure if I can afford to wait till tomorrow, what you guys think?

Should I just bite the bullet and cut all that nasty root off at the bottom? Is it causing more bad then good?
I wouldn't do anything to them if they're dead they will break off & you can dump them with the next res. change & if they're still alive you will have chopped live roots & maybe open them for more contaminants

Ok update, so I sprayed em. And quite a lot of the dead roots just came off without hardly any water pressure. According to the other posts I've read this is a good thing I guess (I hope so).

They also look a lot better, they are whiter now that the slime is off them.

Day 36 (new update after res change)
7-20-2017 : 7:00pm

5.0 Gallons
air temp: 75f
water temp: 70ff
ppm: 480
ph: 6.06

Notes:
- broke out the temporary res so I can disinfect the main res over night
- Changed the res added 5 gallons of RO water + 15mL of call/mag, + 20mL of bloom + 10mL of micro + 15mL h2o2
- Sprayed off roots with sink sprayer (low pressure). A pretty sizable mass of dead roots came off of both plants rather easily. I didnt intend to break the roots off they just came off. I assume this means they were dead and it is not a bad thing they broke away.

Tomorrow's plan:
- My bennie tea will have brewed for 48 hours tomorrow. I will make up another new res with no h2o2 and add the bennie tea instead according to Heisenberg's tutorial.
- I am going to let me water cooler stay around 70f with the bennie tea rather than 65. The forum posts recommend the higher water temperature to let the beneficial bacteria flourish. I'll intend to go back down to 65f after I have stabilized my grow.

Here are the roots after they were sprayed down, sorry for the one blurry picture. Not sure why my res is darker color this time. I actually used less nutrients then the last change.

I use h2o2, and have for years..... Just my bit if advice. First 35% h2o2 is too strong. Especially 15ml in your rez. Hydrogen will actually stop the plant from taking in nutes. I use 3% kind. And only 5ml per gallon. If it was me. I would run straight ph'd water. NO NUTES. NONE. NO H2O2. RUN IT FOR 2 DAYS. I BET IT CLEARS UP. And second which is just my opinion. With that size of plant. You shouldn't be over 350-400ppm. My plant is 5 times that size. With over 30 tops. And I'm just now hitting over 800ppm. I bet if you run straight ph'd water in 2 days time you'll a great change

15ml of calmag is way too much imho.
15ml of h2o2 is way way too much. 3xs too much
20ml of bloom is way high. You should be at like 8ml of bloom right now
And 10ml of.micro is way to high.

But that's just my opinion. Doesn't mean anything. And I'm not telling you how to grow. I just think that's way way way way too much nutes. I'd put cash money nute lock out.

I can lower the nutes and calmag, the calmag said to use 3-5 ml per gallon. I took a ppm after I added it, was 190 from just calmag.

I'll take out a gallon and added gallon of just water to dilute it.

Calmag can also cause nute lock out. And.i nvr go by what the bottle says on any line up. No matter the brand.
