i will go back and give the light issue some attention, that would be a easy way to cut out one variable. never gave that a thought honestly really its been there for a few years and never had an issue. if there anything that many years of growing has taught me is that if it aint broke don't fix it! it may have broken with this needy woman, shes very cliche this one.

no i havent tried the actual humidors, jar with one of the 62% works perfectly. idk that id waste my money on an "official" pot humidor
Got'cha I was thinking about paying that 200 just to get my head stash good but if all I need are those boveda packs money saved lol!!! How long do you cure with that and when you use it do you still do the whole burp the jar?

yeah man you dont need a humidor for ur smokin weed. i considered buying one of them as well after i saw how great the packs were but after just using a jar i really didnt think it was necessary to buy a special container. trust me.... if i thought it would help my herb out i would of bought it as money is not really much of a concern to me. and i buy ridiculous shit all the time. got drunk a couple years ago and ordered like 5000 bucks worth of useless random shit off of amazon + 800$ of patch perfect. i just had to give most of it away. so take it from me i am a cannasoure and i LOVE a quart jar and a 8g 62% Boveda pack.
yes i do burp, i keep opening the jars until it gets to about 64%. time frame to get to this point is really irrelevant because at this stage i add the 62% Boveda packs which is a great RH to cure cannabis without risk of mold. once those are in there i just open and close the jar once a day for a few weeks to exchange gasses. the only reason for this is the give fresh air to the microbes which allows the enzymes to continue to break down some of the organic molecules such as chlorophyll , which are responsible for that harsh taste and hay smell of improperly cured buds. it took me a lllllooonnnnggg time to get the drying/curing process down right its definitely a very fine mix or art and science.

I have to run out but when I get back I have to like the things you told me because they seem like straight up answers to me and I appreciate it... Most people say growing is some what easy it's curing the bud that will take some time to get down

like this Bubba

Doesn't have to be this brand but similar style. They're very good at producing some cool air as some of them have temp setting that you can change
oh really...? it actually cools the air some? how does it do it, or is it just for it to kick on at a certain temp to circulate air? im rigging up my 8" fan and new phresh filter as we speak hoping to improve circulation a little and help that light leak

hehe well nothing about growing pot in easy. unless u half ass it then don't waste your time. anyone who says this is easy is misconstrued. i been doing it a long time and its still hard to me, always new challenges. and thank you for the kind words, yea u have to be careful taking advice on these forums they are full of bad advice. everyone that's been talking here in this thread id say u can trust, they all know what they're talking about. i have a big mouth and speak out when somebody is spewing BS

Some of those tower fans are really intricate. I don't know if they can turn on a certain temps but I know you can set the temp on the fan to blow colder like a small a/c. They have auto shutoff modes to where it will stay on for certain amount of hours and then shut off. And some of them have ionizers on them to help make the air more fresh. The more expensive ones are better and have more options but there's some cheap ones that get the job done. Look into them they're not bulky like oscilating circle fans and fit right into the corner of the grow space. Also some of cfm's on some of these fans are like high velocity intake/exhaust fans so this could be a really big help with temps. Everywhere sells them so they're not hard to find.

yea i think it will help a lot. i already got my 1000 watter hooked back up i got all the girls under the flower screen for another go around. i will be monitoring temps closely. now that i see everything under their permanent home im guessing they will need 2 weeks maybe more, maybe less of 18/6 then go on and flip em

When you scrog do you use two scrog screens? I'm starting to see a lot of people doing this as the 1st screen is mainly for support and the 2nd is to hold the even canopy of buds

no but i do use a different screen for veg. its about 4 in shorter than the flower screen. like today i just ripped the screen off the tops of them and put them under the flowering screen where they'll stay. its stressful to take em out of the screen but i elt them dry out and get dehydrated where all the leaves and stems get real floppy then i move them under the flower screen and give them water

Looking good Bubba as always. You already vegged these didn't you? Another couple weeks and you will have that screen filled in over halfway and you should be ready to flip them girls. Im very interested in seeing the POG again. Hopefully it doesn't herm on you again cus we know its not sterile. Did you get any purple coloring? Keep up the good work

yea i did get some theres a pic a little ways back i took of the base of the resin glands, theres a little purple there. and yes they have been vegging for about 12 weeks and your right itll b prob a couple weeks then ill flip. i want to go for 100% fill this time. that alone, so long as theres no problems, should be enough to get me near my goal. i just hop it cools off here soon. i love the warm weather but my plants do not. weather looked hot through this weekend then after that it looks like it gonna begin to cool off

i really abuse my plants in veg too. call me crazy but all my best quality crops ive harvested have been from plants that go through a lot of stress in veg, makes them stronger IMO. i never do anything with them besides top them really. a lil fertilizer here and there but H2O mostly and i let them get too dry in between watering just to make them hate me. then once the go in the flower screen i baby them all the way

so i couldn't resist the urge so i stuck a couple of those OG#18 Purplewreck X Bubblicious seeds i got into a paper towel. im not sure how big they will be when i flip the lights over but i am just going to stick them on the side out of the way to see how it is. i may get lucky never know. they'll prob just be like 18" tall but it will be enough to know if i want to incorporate into my grow. i also got 10 different types of seeds from breeders in the freezer i need to get to one of these days as well
