3 days drying

ok so i harvested for the first time. and i hanged her up and its been 3 days so far that she dried and when i smoked some of her, she felt like the best shit ever. so becuz i got a super good high do i do something else with her? or would it get stronger ---OR--- weaker the more i let her dry ?

now put it in a mason jar and let it sit a few weeks.

aka airtight bottle/container ?
how long is it suppose to sit?
what happens if i open it like once every day?

its good to open it once every day.. that way u let some moisture out to keep it from getting bud-rot.. just keep it in the jars forever.. lol. till its gone.. the longer the better.

wish I had a link for this info. I'll tell you what I do. harvest. trim all leaf away from buds. hang dry for 3-5 days. untill the stems snap. Jar them with lids and watch for moisture on the glass. if I see moisture on the glass I pull them out and let them dry till crisp to the touch. after I have them dry I seal the jar and let sit unopened for 2-4 weeks. For the finsh cure tou want to keep the air off the bud. I also pack the air tight jars full as I can without crushin the bud.

why u leave it unopened for 2-4 weeks

fresh air degrades the thc and it seems to give it better taste and smoother the longer it sits in the jar. If you open every day it also drys out to much. I smoke out of my jars and about half way threw it is way to dry for me.

what happens if i continue to let it hang and dry for more days?

what can be done to not letting thc degrade?

My guess is it will be gone before you have to worry much. It's you choice to cure it or not. I have bud I forgot in my hang dry box. I could smoke it but it will go to oil or butter. it will taste like ass to smoke. It's been in the box about 3 months just noticed last night it was there. lol could of had another 1/2 oz. just shows not to sample when working. lol

curing would be putting it in a airtight container ?

There are tons of threads on curing. I gave the basics for you.

lol if your new to the grow you' don't have a bunch on you first harvest and it goes fast. my first good indoor yeilded about a qp dry ready to smoke. gone in a month.

i use a bong, so i dont waste as much as you would if u rolled it up w/ blunts

I use bongs pipes and a joint now and then I can't stand blunts. but I regulry smoke 1/8-1/4 a day. when I have it. I also have a kid that dips into my stash when it's full. I'm workingon a bigger grow atm with my med card I can have over a lb of ready to smoke.
