So.. I haven't been on here for awhile... I had a good grow a few yrs back going on till... Well..i had some trouble... My soil was the ff moonshine mix..and i added plenty.. Actually wayy to many nutes... I made aacts about ever week and i aslo added quite a few nute teas... Consisting of Peruvian sea bird guano...fresh sea weed..high n bat poo.. Sea weed meal..alfalfa meal.. A whole plethora of organic nutes..tm7.... I top dressed w bone meal..sea weed meal...castings. I also put some good home made compost on top of it too...honesty i am leaving out some stuff i just cant remember... The place i bought my nutes from were always sending me free shit to try.. . I just say this to let you know it had plenty of extra nutes in the soil... I had it in 45 and 100 gal.... Still do except for the 100 gal.. Smart pots... The cops sliced it for me.... Another thing is it never made it into full bloom.. It was just throwing beautiful long ass white hairs... And it was full if roots... Too many roots for the size of the pots... ..i know they are supposed to put back nutes and help aerate soil as well... But id say they have been broken down.. Well almost 100 on that... My plans were to not take the soil out of the smart pots.. Just transplant into them... If it would be better to mix it with my compost please do tell... And i planned on making some aacts to get the microbes bouncing around and give it a good top dress... If there's a better way to address the situation please let me know... The soil has been outside the whole time if that makes a diff.. In sure it plays some role..any solid info would be greatly appreciated

How long has it been outside in the rain?
Sorry 3 years right? In rain and sun? Anything else take root(like weeds) in there?

Yep ..well about 2 1.5...and nope nothin else is creeping around and growing outa th pots and yes in rain.. Kinda in the shade except for one... So lets just play worst case scenario and say it was in the sun

Well i would assume must nutrients in there is gone. However with proper amending and compost tea you should be ok.

Really...you would say that all the nutes outa that..or most of.. soil are gone...wow.i mean I always thought once something was in the soil it was there until the microbes ate it and then the plants uptake it...I just assumed i would have to make an act or two and maybe nute tea...give it a top dress...

Would it be better to take the soil out and mix it w my compost..I wanted to leave it in there so not to disturb anything..but I guess it might been too long ..

rain will wash the nutrients out. like when people talk of flushing there soil. you can just top dress and do compost tea if the soil texture is still good.
or
just plant and run like you normally would and see what happens, you can always add fertilizers later.
