you need an A/C to bring cooler temps, or you could switch off one of the lights untill ambient temp becomes cooler

You know heat rises and I noticed you had the thermometer up by the lights what's the temp down by the floor? I mean its almost 40 c which is closer to about 100F rite?

Hey bud, I'm not running my 600w with cool tube yet (still veg) but I'm not even going to try running it during the day. I timed my 6 hour veg. dark period to turn off at 7am, so I can run the 12 hours of 600w from 7pm-7am shutting down both lights at sunrise. Also helps me keep daytime hours a little stealthy....(possible visitors/landlord etc.) Hope all goes well. I know I'll be on here in a month or so struggling with temperatures:)

is the hot air from the attic being allowed to escape or being exhausted? If the attic is very warm you will make the entire house warm. Where are you pulling your intake air from and how passive or with a fan? Ambient intake temps? If there is very strong negative pressure in the room u may not be bringing in enough air and this will cause huge heat issues.

Check your negative too. My fan was sucking hot air from outside through the a/c. So when my a/c wasn't on it was blowing 100 degree + air into the room. Fan off during the day with the lights off, 78 all day.

Debo, you could also move the fan to the other sidde of the lights, just before exhausting. That way you would still scrubbing the air, as well as Pulling the hot air out verses blowing it out. GL. ATB!

You need more cfm's to move the hot air out of the hoods.

You either need to have two fans. One dedicated to the filter and another dedicated to the hoods. Or you can have everything in a line but you need a big ass high powered fan.

I realized real quick that a passive intake with everything on one line wouldn't even work at night with my air conditioning. Thanks to this forum I'm modifying: adding a smaller fan with speed control pulling cool air off the ground with the hose pushing it into the tent. Until (if) I need the filter, I'm going to "try" to pull the ambient air in the tent through the cool tube and out the top with the larger exhaust fan. This is 1 600w, I'll see what happens. Hope all works well for you.
