Well I'm growing a cross of td. But is my 1st time messing with it. Actually it's only my 2nd auto grow.... You have to be careful with autos. They are not always a good thing to grow if your on a budget or so...you have to remember the lights stay on all the time. But with xl strains like td I think it evens it out....if anything the first place you should want to grow an auto is outside since you can start so early in the season and get a few chops

Yep week 4. This are not as fast as the sour 60 but they are getting there. I haven't watered in a while just to build up the roots a bit. Off tops I know my dirt is 10x better this time. I had a very bad patch with a lot of flies last time. 4 weeks in I haven't seen 1. image.jpg

Any ideas for keep them short. I was thinking not moving the light would keep them down. Would that work. I have the room for them to get as tall as they nee to but I know that is not need to get my yield. I would prefer to keep the short a thick like I like my women⌛

iv just noticed you use a cool tube there mate... I'm looking to get one as I cant run my hps because of temps. How much does it keep your temps down and what fan are you running on it... Also what watt is your light? Cheers

As far as the cool tube my house sits around 80f and there are days my grow room is 85f. I really feel that's as high as I want to go. I don't have anything to compare it with since this is the only thing I've ran. I traded 2 great hoods for this which I really wish I didn't. I was hoping my temps would be lower. The fan I'm running is a 4 inch can-fan ho. I would tell you now don't get this fan. My bill has went up $20 from a 6 inch hydrofarm active air....I've also found that my humidity is very low. I sit in the low 30s so I added a cool mist humidifier....the light is a 600 watt turned down to 50% so 300. I turned it down to help with the heat

Oh yeah I have feed them yet and won't until they ask me to and even then I will go super light
why arent you feeding them?

you added perlite to your soil right? perlite is innate (no nutes) so your mix is probably really light on N-P-K

Actually I didn't add anything. Couldn't find a good price on a bag. And the plants haven't shown any ill effects from my not feeding them yet. And you seen my last grow. I pushed them too hard. I just want to avoid that this time around. But if you think I should feed them I will. 1st feed what do you suggest. I have fox farm trio. Plus a few other odd things around

Ok I gave them 1 tsp of grow big and big bloom. I'll try to take it easy this time around. I pulled another one in today from outside. I see I cant grow anything out there. It's the same age as the other but it's about 2 inches tall and has a lot of white hairs. So sad. I have it under a 40 watt cfl....we will see what it do. If anything it will get chopped with everything else so I can try to make my goal of a pound. So out of the 12 I have 7 females. 2 that were outside so they are pretty far behind.

its the big bloom thats roasting them more then likely .... i would hold off on the bloom feed for as long as possible ..... bloom feed's around preflower makes them finish faster a slight P-K def they will try and veg a bit longer .... it doesnt always work like this but the majority of them react this way

good idea, just give them 1/3 or 1/2 feedings and they should be able to handle it I feed the ones I have full strength and they havent shown any signs of stress.

This the last one i had outside. And yes it's 4 weeks old like the rest. I know most will say toss it but why. Auto seeds are high and I'm not breeding them so I'm not weeding anything out. If I get 10 grams off it it would be better then what I have now....also I have a sour 60 that just came up so today is day one and they can finish out togetherimage.jpg

heres what i do and im on a minimal feed ..... im mostly coco so its inert ..... i add a handful ( literally ) of compost , i start feeding just veg nutes around week 3 ( but remember my soil is almost inert ) so week 1 - 3 is almost nothing but water and a light humic acid rooting solution ..... would you use the bloom in the veg stage of a photo ? auto's are almost exactly the same in almost every aspect ...... they just have a lower tolerance to nutes and being overwatered when they are young ....... if the bottle says 1 teaspoon per gallon of this or that for veg then only use 1/4 teaspoon ..... if the bloom feed isnt required then your better off not using it until it is..... they look good IMO ...... and just FYI while i was writing this i googled snapping pussy ........ I feel like i owe you something now o_O

soil looks too wet on the little one cfl's dont put out enough heat to dry the soil out so you have to water very light and shallow ...... the rest i would hold off on feeding just let it ride until its throwing puff balls out then give it a splash of veg and a light bloom ..... i usually push nutes ( slowly work up ) until i have a slight tip burn then i back off of them slightly and hold that measure
