Thanks for the biased opinion. There seems be be a lot of that around here. He did not provide too much info at first, only the fact that he had knowledge.

If you read through the thread, you'd probably act less than a shit head.
I like this guy, subbed lol

Read through the thread? All 3.2 pages of it?
For the record bro, I'm from the Saltwater Aquaria hobby, which is light years ahead of hydro in regards to Chillers and especially controllers,( not to mention lighting and water quality) in terms of quality and performance. I know everything there is to know about the construction of Chillers and the companies who make them. The topic is one of the cornerstones of Reef Aquaria and the two hobbies are interchangeable, especially when dealing with Hydro. So pardon me, but when I see the hellacious products being touted as "innovative" by "companies" like HI, I just have to laugh dude. But the only thing that matters at the end of the day is that your plants are healthy, which yours are. Carry on.

You're on repeat.

Same biased opinion.

You're telling me you have knowledge and not really telling anything but a biased opinion.

Are you mad that I was bragging about HI's products? Wait a second. I never bragged about them, and was concentrating about the grow. It was only brought up by other members here.

I have been carrying on. You need some chill.

No, never said you were. You started a thread however. You see, the nature of a thread is different than that of a simple post. A thread encompasses information and input from the entire community. Btw: I'm not sure which chiller you have. Neither do you apparently. It may be outstanding. It may be garbage.

I did state it. It's not the best, but I did make it myself. It's set up to save power, in 3 stages. Electrical experience helped me with this. Should have done more refrigeration though when I was younger...anyways.

You must have a lot of customers that take your word for granted, so maybe you're used to that. Tell me, what did you expect when you came into this thread just to say that this and that sucks, without giving and professional recommendations? You have done nothing more than that.

If you're being two cents, at least drop them.

Seriously though, if you have any of those customers that take your word for granted, send them my way. The people I cater to tend to be tougher sales.

What did I expect when I came into this thread. Interesting question. The answer is I didn't expect anything from this thread. I simply had a very elementary motive. I saw the name Hydro Innovations, cringed briefly at the fact that they actually sold one of their products to an unsuspecting horticulturist, and then made my feelings on the matter known. Im reminded of the old saying here, coined by a somewhat obscure Academic, which goes " Every man is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts." In essence this means, everybody is entitled to the way they feel about something, but some just have zero idea what theyre talking about. Im not referring to you personally.
My opinion, which may hold no value to you personally considering you are now naturally biased against anything I have to say but may be beneficial to someone else: Teco chillers are some of the most well made and efficient chillers available, and you simply cant do better than an Apex controller. The simple fact is this: the Hydro industry is still stuck in the 80's, so to speak, in terms of many things concerning Hydro theory. The trade simply hasnt evolved into the more sophisticated tech that Aquaria enjoys. For some reason, cannabis horticulture tends to attract the lower end of the totem pole in terms of intelligence. Perhaps this is the reasoning behind why the industry isnt as advanced as the other end of the spectrum. Alot of the demographic is your typical flatbill-wearing dude rolling around in a Sean John sweatshirt who refers to the Autos he grew in his closet as " Loud."
Thats my 0.2 dude and I know that world well. Having built a couple DIY chillers myself, I commend you for performing that task. Its a major pain in the ass. Again, your grow is healthy and nothing was really directed at you personally, aside from the comment about you getting butthurt so easily about what Ttystik said.

My next big purchase is going to have to be a more efficient dehumidifier. I have eyes on a dri-eaz not sure which one yet.

I found six hermies total. It's a loss that won't affect this round too much.

There's one weakling in the middle that's pulling through. Should have pulled it, but whatever.
