2500+ PPM? I just flushed lol

My plant has had a weird deficiency/toxicity for a while now. New groth looks discolored and weird, also grows kinda weird.

Soil: Ocean forest
Ferts: Natures Pride

Someone suggested I buy a PPM meter to see if it was over fertilization and looks like that's the case:

I just flushed. Now what do I do? Just keep watering and monitoring the PPM and DONT DO FERTS?

Most likely from over fertilization- FFOF is already nute dense and could have powered that plant alone.

Natures pride seems like another highly dense nute mix.

Your runoff numbers reflect both and is inaccurate since it can change with 10% runoff or 20% runoff numbers.

Flushing probably wouldn’t do much as your overfeed just “ fed “ again … a simple watering to plant as needed … allow plant to correct itself by burning thru excess on its own terms. I would add nothing but water for at least a few weeks as your overfeeding will still be present.

Just keep it simple - always let the base soil feed upfront.

Got it so just keep with the water for the next few weeks.

And how is it inaccurate? You mean like the first 10% of runoff may be higher PPM compared to the last 10%?

Makes sense.

How do I make sure this meter is calibrated properly?

Hard to gauge if you actually are measuring 10% or 20 … etc.

High numbers usually dictate higher salt concentrations hence the overfeed.

I consistently have runoff in Promix over 2000ppm and dont have much beside the occasional burnt tip. I would lean more toward PH or imbalance/lockout.

When you say imbalance or lockout, you mean it to be caused by the PH? So PH imbalance and PH lockout?

Question,

I take a gallon jug of my tap water and use the PH adjust kit (pH down/pH up) to set it to the right pH. Once I do that the water is good for like a day then I notice the next day the water is back to its original PH (or higher than it was once I had adjusted it). Is this bad? Why is this?

Likely the alkalinity of your tap water. As far as PH vs lockout you could have correct PH but the ratio of nutrients could be off causing a deficiency as well. K, Calcium, Mag ratio should be as close to 3:2:1 as possible during VEG and 4:2:1 as flowering progresses. I would check your PH of that runoff you are seeing around 2400 and see if it falls within the suggested range for soil.
