250 watt hps enough?

All you guys say a 250watt HPS will yield big in a 3x3 space???

That makes me smile, serioiusly. What can he expect from that?

I just started getting into growing and did EXTENSIVE reading on how much light you need to get the most out of your bud, etc.

I ended up getting a grow tent.
2'8"x2'8"x5'3"..My question is WHAT WILL MY YIELD BE??
IM USING A 400WATT HPS WITH A COOLTUBE..and ordered an inline fan 170cfm to suck out all the hot air..

I guess im proud to know so much..Im germinating some reg seeds nw..thc bombs on the way..cant wait to see how they turn out guys!!:weed:

"Indoors, 2000 lumens per sq. ft. is about as low as you want to go indoors. If you get under this mark, plant growth will certainly not go as fast as possible, and internode/stem length will increase. Also, light distance to plants will be much more critical. Daily adjustments to the lamps will be necessary, meaning you get no vacations.

2500 lumens psf should be a good target, and 3000 is optimal if your going to inject or enrich CO2 levels"

I just like passing knowledge.. I purchased a 400watt for a smaller grow space then 3x3..

what will be the difference between a 400watt grow and 250??

Ha ha I will show you my grow 1 plant 1 light 250 watt hps with a strawberry haze LST to the power of 10 in a 3 x3 x 6 closet with incredible bud sites ......Its coming just wait till I harvest ;) ill post then



SOTHING THAT MAKES ME LAUGH IS .....How many of us actually grew our avatars and how many just wish they did ......Mines all me was my first time too i have all the pics ..........whats your avatar wheres it from is it really yours......EVERYTHING I WRITE HERE IS FICTIONAL I DONT EVEN KNOW IF I REALLY EXIST .......lol

Lmao, this thread is old as f*ck.

Anyways..Out of the 6 plants I had in there with my 400, 4 were female.

I just harvested one of them 3 days ago, and it looks to be a little over an ounce (gotta wait til it dries)..

If you dont have a 400 watt..get 1.. I would have been dissapointed with 250 im sure. To each his own though.

The 3 in there now are bagseeds..lookin great so far..ALOT fatter than the sativa just harvested. Anyway Now that i look at my post from a long time ago it makes me realize how much I've learnt in that time.
