24 hr light during veg?

is it a good idea or not? I was told it would allow constant photosynthesis to occur... however im about 2 weeks into my grow and i feel that the plants are pooped (tired)... I feel like they need rest... If I revert them now to 17-7, will they be okay... also afraid they might start to flower if i give them any dark time... is this a valid fear?

PS. first time grow<-> but this is MAD FUN!

okay. thank you!... another question: if I dont intend to transplant the plants to another area or even disassemble the aerogarden during flowering (ie. dont want a plant bigger than 18 inches)... how soon should I begin flowering?
I was told that during flowering, your plant will grow approximately 3 times its size until completion/ desired harvest... does that mean I should begin flowering when they are approximately 6 inches. 6x3=18?

I only ask because its about 2 weeks in and they are already 4 inches with 2 nodes and a 3rd node under way... Thanks for any imput!

they triple in size when u throw them into flowering..

go 24/0 for the first two weeks, then switch to 18/6 until you flower them

That is exactly what i ended up doing... side note... this is my first grow... and I just started flowering on valentines...(kinda funny how that worked out). lol.... Thanks for the advice SICC.

How early can flowers appear, Can they appear as early as two weeks in a hydro 24/0 setup?

On a side note, the deluxe is very nice.
