24 hours extra light.. a few questions

Ok, I've searched this site for some answers to my questions, to no avail.
I've got 8 plants, all are females, about 6 1/2 weeks into flowering.
I replaced my old timer with one that turned out to be faulty, and it gave
my girls too much light, I believe they started re-vegging. There are shoots
of new growth everywhere on my buds.. The single leaf ones..

First question is, are they guaranteed to hermie? Or is there a good chance
that they will just continue flowering?

Second question, how should I treat them, I'm thinking of removing the new
shoots and just letting the buds ripen although the new shoots have calyxes.

Thanks in advance

i would trim the new shoots because you would think that the plant is wasting energy on those shoots that could be going to your already growing flowers

i've read about people changing the cycle after flowering that started to 24/7 to try to raise the plant and create more bud sites but i'm not sure about that far into flowering. for how many days was the 24 hour cycle on for?

i don't think they will hermi but i think they is a chance that they might depending on how long you had them under 24 hours

my best educated guess

They received about 14 extra hours, and the following day they got some extra light when I installed my firs hid, 150 watter for $82 shipped. They have been on regular light schedule since

Id trim off the new shoots and put them into 24 hour darkness and start up your 12/12 cycle the next day. How long have you been back to the regular 12/12 schedule?
