Hey all,

Things are plodding along nicely, nothing really new to tell... all ive been doing is feeding her, rotating her and trimmed off a few of the leaves from under the main branch structure to keep some airflow under there... Seems to be progressing well and starting to thicken up a little :)

Hey guys,

Still going smoothly, just passed 7 weeks of 12/12 lighting and seems to be going well. I had to rearrange a few of the branches to manage the space a little better, and its a daily routine to see which "pegs" have pulled out of the soil, other than that there's not much to tell really... but pics as always :)

Thanks for the kind words guys :)

420noobie this is my first attempt at lst to this extent, previously it had gone no further than spreading the branches a bit for better light but this was a whole new game lol. Having this plant as more of a hobby than anything else helps because i havent minded being a little riskier with it.

Random question for you all, i just had a look at it with the jewellers loupe and ive noticed that at the moment ive got predominately clear trichomes (to be expected), and a handful of milky trichomes... but ive also noticed about 1/30 trichomes is amber already... is this normal under cfl lighting? Under my old 250 hps and outdoors they were normally more consistent maturity wise from memory

If the clones stay humid and moist they'll root. I've taken clones outside in dirt and covered with a clear 2 litre bottle and they rooted. Outside under the sun....keep em moist and humid

hey all,

Just passed week 9 of 12/12 over the weekend. Shes still going strong :D i spent some time this morning re pegging her down more securely because over time shes become stronger and keeps pulling them out. Now ive got a nice even canopy again so i can keep the lights closer. While the colas on her arent as thick as what my 250w hps manages (obviously) i cant believe how well they are forming and how many trichs are popping up... definitely more trichs from the cfls.... Anyway, pics as always, although now im finding it hard to get my pics to do her justice...

Im blazed as hell and have been wondering about mixing more light spectrums in next time. I strongly believe that mixing the 2x2700k bulbs with 1x 6500k bulb for flowering has had a big influence on how its turned out. So ive been thinking about next run either running 1x 2700k, 1x 4100k and 1x6500k bulb during flowering to see if i can notice any other changes. Either that or making a new light setup to run 4 bulbs so i can stay 2700k dominant and go with 2x 2700k, 1x 4100k and 1x6500k.... Except then i cant use this grow as a control for comparison. Anybody here had any luck from running 4100k bulbs? I did veg my first run in this box for a while under them, but noticed more vegetative vigour from running 6500k bulbs. As this setup has been more of a hobby and a bit off fun than anything im keen to play with a few experiments.

Another week down... Nothing to write home about except some more thickening up, and some leaves dying off a bit, not sure if its some deficiency or just coz of where its at in life, but at the rate its happening im not really concerned currently. Shes starting to smell quite a lot when disturbed now... im getting impatient haha

Looking great. If you can do this with a cfl, would love to see what you do with a hps/outdoor :) good job my fellow taswegian.
