how would u assess ur grow this year?
things u would do different?
things u would keep the same?
im still not done harvesting (wtf lol) and i have an assload of things im going to change next year........
i made too many noob rookie padawan learner mistakes and through mistakes ill hopefully improve..........
i think having only 15 plants last year is why i had more successful grow..........sometimes less is more

Heres some shots from the garden today. Been gearing up for spring. Mothers are under a metal halide and ive replaced the 225 smarties for tan 400's. also in the middle of my first outdooor spring harvest! Pretty Excited about it. plan to use the greenhouse frame for the light deprivation box I never got going last season. Goal is three outdoor harvests

Damn man, 400 gallons? Can't wait to see what you can do with that kind of room this year! Do you already know which strains you're going to be running? If so, please tell :D

imo, i would grow the plant in a 20-30 gal hardside, in 50/50......of the same medium.....then transplant into the biggin' with 75% ss....right when she is full throttle in the smaller pot....i have seen trees in ss peter out during week 5-6, believe it or not, they will get such a huge root mass, it will suck the nutes up in the ss in a heartbeat.......esp. if you only has ss in the bottom...it is a real touchy deal dealing with growing trees in ss, or "no-jug" style....good luck!

p.s. i do outdo, in ss and smarties.....just not that big......

brandon 7272: in these large containers im planning on running purple diesel and ssh. not exactly exciting, but reliable outdoor strains, that have proven to work for me in my climate. different phenos of qrazy train suffered really bad bud rot last season. same preventative maintenance done on all 3 strains. so im using that as a learning experience. Qrazy train will have a place in my light dep box along with cali connections regulator kush that i popped in the middle of winter and have narrowed down to two phenos (regulator kush: sfvk x sourd x pre98 bubba. Thinking on this being less eggs in one basket with unproven outdoor strains. These smaller plants that finish around aug 1st should have no rot issues. the spring box has 15 different (15-20 gal pots) strains in it from winter clone hunting. not expecting much but should be an interesting to see how these clones fare with the daylight increasing. looking to harvest by may 15.

In addition to the garden space u see above i will be doing some in ground holes measuring 12' x 12' and am expecting to run purp d and ssh in these monster holes. this site will also have a light dep box that will most likely be filled with jacks cleaner x strawberry diesel. and about 8 200 gallon pots that will likely have the following planted in them: kens gdp, my own strain kush queen, casey jones, regulator kush, 707 headband, jacks cleaner strawberry diesel and anything that looks promising from the spring box.

im also hoarding about a grand worth of subs gear that might make an appearance!

Wolverine: me and you both.

Happy growing man. I've been running an amazing pheno of Casey Jones for a couple years now and it's probably still my favorite all-round smoke, unless I'm trying to sleep. I'm also sitting on a bunch of TGA strains that I haven't found time for, along with a ton of Cali Connect gear and a bunch of misc seed packs and stuff I've collected in my travels to Jamaica. I can never seem to find the time to do the pheno hunting I used to, I'm not sure why that is, it just is. I'm curious what your general experience with Cali Connection has been, if you don't mind my asking.

Anyhow, I'm stoned and rambling... looking forward to the epicness to come 'round here.
