The crazy thing is quantum boards have twice the lifespan or normal LEDs at 100,000 hours continuous run time. Which is 11.4 years if you ran them 24/7.Also theyre the most efficient lights on the market

    Nope, full organic Super soil.

Only additives I used was coconut water, aloe water, silica powder Fulvic acid and malted Barley powder.

Indeed! Next round I’m going full no till living soil. The super soil works great buts just way to labor intensive for me......I really like that sound of not having to mix soil and remove spent dirt every couple months

Up next glukie breath #1, sweet skunk x c99, sense star and white widow:weed:

Couldn't agree more with the labor part lol It is also the reason I am going to the no till. Or at least trying to.
Also please share the SSxc99 as it grows. Have been super interested in that one.
    Great looking set up btw
    Cheers :)

Will do, this will be my 2nd run with the sweet Cindy, amazing Sativa, last time she went about 10 weeks. I wonder if the MBP will speed up her finish much ? According too coot, he says it can speed up harvest time by 10-15%

Started my flush on these the other day, which will likely going to last 10-14 days despite these plants only technically having 5 left if they finish when the mothers did. These plants did not thicken out as much as the mothers, the only things that changed were that I ran out of mammoth P at the end of the last grow and I had a 4 or 5 day lighting timer issue (it took a few days to realize the timer was toasted and doing what it wanted to, this actually resulted in one clone going hermie and having to be culled). Growing is a constant learning experience for me, the lessons this grow have been that cheap digi timers are shit, and that beneficial microbes seem to work.

Ya. It’s nice to finally be able to put those first few orders from tweed that they sent me to use. Lol

For me. No till is looking to be so much less work. But I used promix before. So I guess it depends on your growing style. I won’t be missing having to get rid of my old root balls....especially in the winter. Right now I’m running out of room in my garage with all the used supersoil.
Also love the fact I just took all my harvest trimmings and just throw it right on top of my pots for worm food/mulch.

Do you guys know how much heat they put out (in practice)? One thing that could justify the cost for me would be the ability to run my room in July/Aug (at night, with a bit of AC if necessary).

OK, I just caved and ordered (2)x260XL and (1)x600H for my 8x4 table. Should be interesting to see if I can complete a run indoors this summer! Things will pay for themselves, I will save 100$/month on electric and 400$ a year on bulbs. Payback 1.2 years until these things basically pay for themselves.

Hopefully that is enough light for my 8x4 Flood table. Was thinking put the 600H in the center of the table and adjust the 260xl's on either side as necessary.

Good move! I’m loving theses lights so far.....blow the spectrum kings I had out of the water.
I’ve never used a 1000 watt bulb to compare. But I’d say the two I have running in my tent aren’t giving off too much heat. I upgraded from a 4” to a 6” exhaust fan thinking there would be a lot more heat, but I ended up having to set the fan to the lowest setting because my temps where getting so low with light on. Now come summer, I’m sure I’ll need that extra power as it gets hotter outside.

I got a test room running AN OIM. It’s certified organic in the US and by multiple associations...so I gave it a shot. As for right now I can say it’s quite stable, bud production can’t comment yet but I’ve seen faster growth. Cloning with it is good,6-8days. Veg is fine too. Just ran into something odd, narrowed it down to my water. Installing ro300 tomorrow.

Johnny beat me to it, but yeah growerslights. The guy Kurt there is super helpful and knowledgeable, and helped steer me in the right direction regarding import duties and shipping (shipping was only $60US from Texas). These are hands down the most expensive lights I have ever owned, was going to pull the trigger on DE like @bigmanc in the pic above, until the guy at the hydro store told me they had to be mounted like 10 feet high, and I don't have that in my tent. The HLG 600H puts out as much as a 750w DE at 1450 PPF.

Edit: and DE lights put out way more heat than even regular HPS, or so the guy at the hydro store said. Heat is certainly useful in the winter.
