View attachment 3999940 I had a really close call today. The house I am living in Is being put up for sale and we were contacted yesterday by the realtors, saying they needed to come out and take pictures of the house/property! I spent the better part of yesterday improving my camouflage and put on my best "not growing trees in the adjacent lot" face today when they came out. The lady walked within 15ft of my patch before I was able to Jedi mind trick her to walk in the opposite direction! Crisis averted. Here's a photo from the opposing hillside :)
Wait until the New Owners see you started on a pool.

Last night we had a thunderstorm and I had a hard time sleeping; worried about the wind and the rain. I went out this morning and shook the moisture from the girls (about to get the leaf blower on em) and installed some more trellis. During the storm, all I could smell was my garden...

In a passive effort to eliminate excess moisture (after shaking the buds and after using the leaf blower) I decided to skip a watering - hoping that my girls would soak up the water where they could. There's zero science to the method but it was worth a shot. Honestly, I'm fairly confident that moisture will not play a detrimental role in these final stages.
I gave them nutrients one last time this morning. Standards suggest that the flush be started ten to fourteen days before harvest but if that's the rule for 5gal pots, I'm going to give my girls three weeks just to be sure. I want white ash in the bowl- zero residual nutrients.
I haven't been able to remember any significant points to any dreams for as long as I can remember; until last night. My paranoia has seeped into my subconscious. I had a dream that I went out to my patch (which was a greenhouse in a different location) and my plants stood there in their 45s, void of all leafs and flowers- completely stripped. They looked like my tomatoe plants after the squirrels/rabbits devoured them, just remnants of life.
I didn't even get 100% dressed before I ran out to my garden. Everything was beautiful, better than I could have imagined. I feel pretty great that I've done this without aide. I mean, I've gotten plenty of advice but all the work is been done by ME! Well, my wife helps more than she realizes, got to give her credit too :)
I snapped a few photos this morning for your viewing pleasure!! Lol

I've grown pot for a few years now and have always seemed to have a knack for it. I love it!! Megalomania plays a huge role but the payoff has always been the goal; huge colas and low eyes. That being said, this grow has been especially difficult. I learned a lot growing outdoors from last years attempt (uncertain grow journal) but am still combatting new obstacles! The biggest and most prevelant issue right now is the rain. Here in the valley, the rain seems to come out of nowhere so it's difficult to account for it. Once again, I had to go in the pit and shake the trees and tie up more buds. Then, I get the leaf blower and blow off the rest of the moisture. It's been pretty much a cake walk until now. In the past month I've dealt with realators, rattle snakes, wind and rain. I feel like a kid before Christmas; I am counting the days for sure!!!
