2014 Cookies crosses

I typically don't buy the hype, at least not right away. I like to wait until a few grows are complete to see what breeders are doing it right and I have read that most of the GSC and subsequent crosses are prone to ballin out. I am not sure if this is true but where I live I don't have access to clones. So what breeder(s) are putting out quality cross that are not going to hermie and ruin my room? any recommendations are very much appreciated!

Sometimes they look great, then disappoint when you smoke it.(I think that's what Red meant)
I've been disappointed quite a few times with plants I was sure would be "fire" just from looking @ them.

I haven't found what I consider a true keeper in a seed strain yet.
Trying my first Bodhi beans now hoping to change that.
Grown different OG kush's for atleast 5 years now, TK being my current favorite.

Im curious how many beans you have been growing out at a time trying to find a keeper. A friend of mine used to complain about the same issue of not getting keepers but he was only growing 1-2 beans at a time. Then switching to another strain.

I've grown over 100 bean plants each year outdoors for the past 5 years now, but those were B grade feminized beans.
I live in Socal + my dispensary has legit clones, so it's no huge deal if I don't find a keeper from seed runs.

Bodhi's beans I'm only growing half a pack each round indoors.
Never had such beautiful plants from seed; I think the breeder's selection matters more than the amount of beans you plant.

There was one year that I had over 50(60 seed>some didn't sprout) Dinafem Cloud#9.
One of them had a potency similar to TK, and the flavor was more complex.(Tropical sweet Skunk + peppery incense)
That was the only one to really impress me and it took over 50 plants to find it.
Too bad I never took clones back then!
I grew mostly Dinafem/G13labs + never had 1 hermi, but most plants lacked in smoke quality.

The cat joke was only funny in my head.

I've heard through many cookie runners, that your best bets (for a forum cut pheno) are Cannaventure Flaming cookies and Sinmints.
