I culled 4 males this week as everything inthe ground started to preflower. Everything else is either showing pistils or not showing at all. So lets hope that was all the males. And lets hope the plants I replaced them with are all females lol. The little untopped plant is a strawberry blue fem seed. The other 3 are: 1 hawaiian skunk haze and 2 bahia blackhead. The other 2 in this greenhouse are Seahash.

Friday i am gonna tear up the squash and cantaloupe because they are just aphid magnets and crowding the garden. I have a couple pepper plants ready to be transplanted. I might throw another haze and another early finisher down in the mix too since there will be extra free space.

Sucks about the males but it'll make room for those other ones everything looks good.
On another note I just planted 6 cantaloupes throughout my garden did you make a trellis thing for them or can they just grow on the ground like pumpkins?

When I grew it on the ground it got trashed by aphids so I canned it. I would build a trellis for them to grow up or over. I want to build a long trellis this winter for all my vining plants to grow on. Kinda like the one Mwooten102 has his gourds on.

Yea man Ahhh I'm pretty lazy when it comes to building things ha I saw this video though on youtube where this guy like all his cantaloupes were roughting on the bottom that was on the dirt so he put little 4 inch pots under the cantaloupes to grow on and that helped them.

I trashed my watermelon too, because it was getting raped by aphids. Aphids are a bitch this year. They are attacking a couple light dep plants. I have to bast them off with the hose every morning. Which sucks because it knocks off a bunch of trichs.I would rather sacrifice trichs than to be smoking aphids though lol.

I've never gotten any aphids on anything other than my green beans and hibiscus.
