Im using 5 gal containers and i have 5 autoflowers (magnum, think different, big bang, northern blue lights, and auto pounder) which are in fox farm ocean forest soil outside.

They are around 3days old and are growing very rapid! They germinated withing 24 hours and sprouted within 24 hours! The most fastest i ever seen!
My main question is when do i start nutrients and how much to use?
Ps im going to be using all fox farm nutes(grow big,big bloom, tiger bloom, open sesame.etc)

Thank you for your input

I know theres alot of forums for autoflowers and nutrient intake but i havnt seen one strickly for foxfarm products

You wouldn't want to start nutes for at least a couple of weeks and when you do start off very light around 1/4 recommended dose, than work your way up... Don't start the bloom nutes until vertical growth stops regardless of how many pistils they are throwing out...

ok i been working on this for last year and half

the best combo i have come up with is a mix of orgaincs and chemical feed

the 2 sets u need
go box
dirty dozen

the go box is great for the growth and part of flowering
dirty dozen set is your power house weight builders

each strain is different so u have to watch the plants reactions

but i start feeding with rooting and seaweed plus big bloom and a few other stackers u would not care about (micbros and fungi builders) as sson as i water them them as i plant it then off and on for the first 2 weeks and increase if i need too or let pull out of soil ...........but i use 7 gallon bags mixed ffof with ideal420soil

Go easy on the Fox Farm nutes. I used Fox Farm for years but then decided to try CannaNutrients flower and bloom. I got better results doing it this way but still supplementing with Fox Farm Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomx, and ChaChing.

Double up on the Cal Mag for autos. I had Cal Mag issues with autos (Auto Pounder and StarRyder). Currently growing a Dinafem Moby Dick Auto (not the XXL) with no issues since doubling the Cal Mag.

do you start with 1/4 strength?

do you start with 1/4 strength?
start at half str on the grow .......u can use full on the rooting and the branching(seaweed)....if u are using big bloom u can add that to it is safe

u are looking for a rich green if u see the leave doing a forward swoop or bent twist leaves then u have to much cut back on the grow

rem the soil has power u are just adding feed so the roots intake it faster then pulling out of soil

And how much Cal Mag do i use and when do i start using it?
I use 1 tsp/5ml per gallon of water. Botanicare is the brand I've been using, however, I'm switching to General Hydroponics because it has twice as much calcium in it already.
