2 BIG BUD Ladies_RDWC_First Time

Yea, I'm eventually going to switch to an EC meter. I know that's the way everything's going. Currently my EC is about 1.0 Thanks! I topped off with RO water and the plants seem to be doing fine now. I'm Day 5 into flower.

How long have you been using the Dyna-Gro? Ever use aquaflakes?

Has anyone had these little white bugs in there rootzone before? I think they're springtails, not exactly sure, I heard they weren't something to worry about though, they eat organic matter. Any ideas?

6 more days and they will be :bigjoint: I did some more stretching out on the smaller one, I think I'm going to go ahead and lay down two separate trellis nets to get them stretched out and as low as I can and give these big buds I'm so highly anticipating some support! I've only used the Veg spectrum so far, going to switch to full spectrum veg and bloom all the way through flowering and maybe just bloom the last few weeks of ripening. I'm really pissed at myself for rushing the design and not being able to use the center. Guess you live and you learn, I'll make it work! I'm just avid about cleaning out the system really good!

Let us know how it turns out.

Will do! It'll be 2 weeks into flower Monday and I'll update pics, they're stretching a good bit, the lankier lady on the right is getting a little taller but not too bad, the canopy is still manageable. Just becoming harder to access the control rez. I took 10 clones from the big, beefy female that's on the left, I hope to have to really nice squatty girls for the next run! Shooting for 1LB a plant!

Ok, I'm 2 weeks into flower and everything is look great! Here are some pics, the pheno on the right is stretching up more than I would like but the CFL's are helping with the fill in light on the edges of the canopy. The nodes are stacking pretty good! I've taken clones from the plant on the left, and they've pretty much all rooted, hope to have two more back in like her on the next run, thick bushy beasts! Cheers! I'll do another update on week 4. I've only been running 450-500ppm, this strain seems sensitive so I don't want to overdue it, they're intaking more water than nutes at the moment.

Day 53 of flower, starting to flush now with pure RO water. May go 58 days or so, I really want to let some of the trichs get pretty amber couch lock stone status. I feel like I've always harvest ed early in the window but this time I'm really gonna let them ripen out. I hope to get a pound off these 2 ladies, anything more I will be very satisfied! Learned a lot on this grow, definitely going to keep the LED fixture a little further away next time, it's really powerful and singed a few of the top colas in the center where it was most intense! Good thing a caught it pretty early on, so it didn't do much damage.

Next round going back in with Big Bud clones off the left pheno, although I'm really liking the resin development on the tall girl on the right. Hopefully I can ace the next round and learn from my mistakes! Stay tuned! Thanks for your support everyone who has shared some insight and pointers! :bigjoint: Jack Herer coming up after this next round!

If they jump around like fleas likely springtails. I get them in varying amounts in between seasons here but the plants still flourish and they seem to die off with the dry cycle. Potting mix though. No experience with your medium. It's the dry dirt that seems to hinder them.

Yea, pretty sure they were springtails, they didn't cause any major issues, I'm day 56 today and the harvest is going to be amazing! The smells are potent and the resin has really packed on!!! Can't wait to get this batch cured!!! Thanks!!

Those look great. I can't see the trics, but they don't look like they are ready just yet. I noticed my rdwc system likes to go a few days longer than my soil grows of the same strain. Make sure you scope them good. Most of my rdwc grows go 65-70 days, but then again I do grow more sativa leaning hybrids. You don't want to go through all that work and cut too early. Trust me, I used to until I really learned about tric development. I like to sample the lowers, cut a bud off and let it dry for a day or two and sample it. Close to the end of a cycle, I can tell a Major difference in 1 extra week of flower. Looks great!
