2 5gal buckets and a 60 gph air pump ?

ok so I am getting all finished up building my 2 pot system and now im second guessing myself,,,,,I just need to know if a 60 gph air pump will work with 2 5gal buckets,,,,well ?,,,,,ok ?....cutting it close ? I dont want to have to make any changes after my girls get growing any advice will help . thanks

Its a vague speculation on the w/gal ppl recommend.

I can tell you this; I have ran from as small as Tetra Whisper 60's to Sunleaves 1440gph pumps.. The larger ones will make you turbulent in 5 gallon buckets, you will need 6...8...12 of these to make it stable.

I run Tetra Whisper 100's, with 2 2x2" airstones by Sunleaves, in app 8 gallons of water in a 10 gallon tote- throughout my entire rig and am right where I need to be.

Eventually I am wanting to take one of my pumps (the 1440) out of storage and hook up x3-4 line dividers (theyre adjustable, on ebay, or your grow shop)- then you can moderate exactly how much vigor you want for each bucket.. ie. clones...veg...flower..

Thats what I would do, if noise wasn't an issue- and Id look for a pump that runs cooler.

60 gal will do 4-6 5gal buckets easy imo. i setting up 5-6 cause im done fucking with soil. also id check out voidobject's thread it's good to go by. dont be shy to check out other dwc posts some of the pot heads got the shit down pat lol.
