1st grow

i have 300$ and i want to grow 1 plant.. what do i need to start. the cheaper the better. if anyone has any ideas how to hide it in a closet so that friends aka feino pot heads cant find it and rip me off. thank you all for your help

if 300$ isnt enough i can spare about 100$ more and if thats not enough the grow will have to wait a few weeks.

also i will be starting with a AK-47 clone off a friend

If you go to High Tech Garden supply they have high quality lights for cheap. ANd I mean real cheap. They didnt have the one I ordered in stock so they didnt want to keep me waiting any longer so they just set me the next better light which was worth about $80 more. And all has a 3 yr warrenty and great customer service.

thanks all but i need to find a way to put it in a closet wihout being seen. does anyone have a system that works for them? (boxes to hide it in, venting the pot smell and so on)

I'm a newbie too PhattyTokes, but I've read several guides out there for "closet grow systems" that fit in a small space. That should work, but it'll still smell like weed, so you might want to buy a carbon filter if security is a big issue (like if you live in an apartment or something).

oh i never heard of a carbon filter before.... i'll go reasearch
