you first grow. great. just be careful dont take pics with disntinct buildings in the background that could give away what floor your on etc..
be stealthy and pic them with a towel or sheet against a wall or against the side of a grow tent.

they look absolutely fine.. dont fuck em up by feeding them and burning them. if they are in fresh new soil they will last almost all the way to the end .. then its time to flush anyway !

Yeah I bought some expensive new soil from the HP shop.A brand most soil growers say is great stuff for weed so im fine there.I was just giving them half nutes EXCEPT once and the very next day the new leaves on one plant had really pale tips so I did a half flush with just water and ill just be giving them quarter nutes now.I may even stop giving them any all together like you say but Im really scared to do that incase the girls stop growing on me or something lol.

Man, this Website is like a barren wasteland.I think I actually saw a tumbleweed and a single Mexican dude sleeping outside a Saloon on the way through earlier.No-one ever replies or makes comments. How many people are registered here? 12?

Please water those girls.
I like to let them get quite dry between waterings, not too dry just enough to let the roots get some air though. I did actually water them just after taking these pics.
Oh 1 more thing,ONE of these plants is a hell of a lot heavier than the other pne when I pick them up.The amount and type of soil is the same and its not the amount of water because that changes all the time.Wtf could it be lol?!?!

I'm not sure why one would feel significantly heavier than the other.
Whatdya think of my home-made drink-can reflectors? I'm thinking of patenting them lol.I'm looking for advice on flowering lights. At the moment ive got one big 125Watt CFL and five 26Watt CFL's (all 6500K). Would buying just a few small 2700k's be Ok.Or do I need flowering lights at ALL? since these are autos? Even if I don't need 2700s I would prob like to get some to help the plant along.

I'd ditch the cans and just get some panda film to be totally honest.

i use T5's for veg and flower and love them both.
I'd post a picture of the difference between my husbands' CFL grow compared to my T5 grow....but he refused to let me take a picture because my plants are/were doing so much better than his.

I've already harvested 2 of 3 plants and he is still struggling to get his 2 plants to fruition.

Well there's 2 reasons I'm growing with CFL's really.. Number 1. Im broke and on a very small budget and 2.I want to continue using the CFLs to see what the plants turn out like because once this grow is over I'm going to try to get either some T5s or HPS - Again it depends on how much cash I have.

DAY 36

Ok quick update with some wee 'Photies' as we say here in Bonnie Scotland.Plants are still all good.I'm gonna start a new grow in next few weeks plus ive got a million square ft of that Panda film stuff so Im gonna build my own tent.Need to wait until ive got a C-Filter etc. before I do that though.
Got up this morning and the plants were all droopy as shit like from the top down.I got a bit of a fright.I think it's a bit of light stress as Ive got this great bit 200Watt CFL now directly above them as u can see in one of the pics.I lowered thenm away from the light so we'll see how they go..........GT signing off. :) :) :)

DAY 43 ...Plants still looking Ok.Bottom of one is getting pale leaves but I never had bloom Nutes until yesterday so... I changed the pot on one as there was a great big crack on the side which was really annoying when watering etc. I really think the original pots I used 4 these 2 plants were too small anyway (I'll chalk that one up 2 a learning exp. and use bigger pots next time.

Well hi there. Pleasure to meet ya. Looks like you wish a few people would stop in and check out your grow right ? Anyway, man dude you sure do put some time into workin the hell outta them CFL's eh ? Believe me man I know too well what its like to work on the lowest of budgets. Unfortunately I have to be very thrifty in trying to pull off every grow I do.
Your plants look very good for the light they're under. They look nice and healthy. At the same time, they also look like what CFL's are capable of doing, and the fact is, its not going to yield a whole heck of a lot. BUT, it can produce some nice bud, just not a lot of it.
Your buddy here suggested Panda film and I would 2nd that. I have to be real careful on where I throw money, and Panda film can be expensive, but its something thats worth every penny you pay for it.
I'm a little leary of them CFL's with them reflectors tied to them like that. I mean, I'm sure they'll be fine and all, but have you seen the pictures of CFL's hanging upside down that caught themselves on fire? I use em too in my nursery to veg babies with and they do make me a bit paranoid.
Anyway, if you continue to grow weed, try to scrape up the money to get yourself even a 400 MH HPS conversion light. The difference you'll see is night and day.
I did my very first grow with CFL's and I knew then that wasnt gonna cut it. These days I run 2- 400 watt lights and its the best thing I ever did.
So, just thought I'd stop in and give ya something to read man. Happy growing
