so i cut some clones off of one of my plants a few weeks ago 2 without hormones and 4 with clonex gel, the no gel ones rooted first(crazy i know) but now i have them in 1/2 gallon grow bags with 4 parts ffof soil and 1 part pearlite, and a little extra mexican bat guano to get some of the green back in the leaves.

next week i will begin foliar feeding it diamond nectar and a small amount of floralicious plus.

tonight i covered the top of the soil with some hydroton pellets to hold the moisture and help with my end soil to root ratio

i have them at 18/6 with
1 - 2"X4 bulb t5 all 6500k bulbs, and
3 225 red/blue led panels as supplemental light

and i will be flowering of course with a 400 watt hps

the first picture below is of the clones the day after i first transplanted them earlier this week. notice how one is wilting a bit
i was worried it was dead but it has seemed to perk up a bit.

the second picture is of theclones tonight before i put the hydroton over the surface
notice how the wilted one has come back to life luckily thanks to an unused plastic fragrance spray bottle i have been using to routinely mist it throughout the day

and the third is of the mother plant in the beginning of this week in its second week of 12/12 its been begging to be flowered for almost a month now

Hey jbrown, the headline suggests that you may need some help, but it looks like you have everything under control. I cant think of any advise to give you. Looking really nice. +rep
How do you like those LED lights? Ive seen them used before and people seem pretty happy, but what do you think? Are they worth the extra money compared to vegging with a 400w HPS? Can you really tell a difference?
Good luck growing

the leds are really nice if you have enough of them but sadly they are still really expensive
but as costs come down it will be totally worth it, i have seen some led systems that impressed the shit out of me

http://shop.sunshine-systems.com

these guys are the way to go if you are going led

the glow panel is great for supplemental lighting, and i vegged under a glow panel 45 no problem(i use it for flowering support now with my 400hps)

but i have heard great things about their ufo's and the glow panel pro and seen some great results(photos)

i like mixing them with t5s personally i feel like it helps round it out and i don't see myself buying any more yet, but when those prices come down i'll be all over it

throwing one in with an hps would probably help alot with your blue spectrum though but it may be more cost effective at this point to go with a few 2' 6500k t5 strip lights.

here are some updated pics of the clones from this morning they are starting to gain a little height,
although they are starting to yellow up a bit again on the roots should be balanceing out soon so im sure the nutes from the soil ill bring the green back so i can get a bit more canopy growth before throwing them in flower

here are some new pics of the clones the first two are really taking off, i assume the others will only be a matter of days since i started them a few days later. i should be able to start flowering within the next 2 weeks as long as they can stretch up to 8 inches at least as fast as they are growing right now.

transplanted the healthiest looking clones, into 4 2 gallon pots 2 still seem to be suffering from mild nutrient burn in the new growth but as soon as they overcome i expect them to shoot up and catch up with the others, but until then i plan on keeping them in the 1/2 gallon grow bags and perhaps just keep them as mothers if they perk up a bit.

the healthy 4 on the other hand should be heading to 12/12 in a week or so as soon as they hit 8"

here are some pics

sorry for the hiatus but heres the update.

two of the babies did not make it sadly, they were weak and could not perform under the eyes of jah.

two others have been trimmed back and tied as to become bonsai moms, so they are not much of a sight to see. but the two healthiest have been flowering in the cab with my power skunk and my old bonsai mom.

this is them on day 12 of 12/12

they are both just pushing a foot and are still growing probably .5" to 1" a day still. but i can see it beginning to switch over its energy as i have been decreasing nitrogen levels.

they are in some rather potent fox farm ocean forest so i have only been lightly fertilizing them with about 2.5ml-5ml pure blend pro grow 1ml floralicious plus, 10ml botanicare sweet berry(i think i'm switching to citrus soon as it will suit the taste of the jack better i belive) to 1 gallon of water which i split between the 2 plants.

last watering was 48 hours ago

flushing with flora kleen next week then starting regement of pro bloom/sweet(citrus)/kool bloom/floralicious)

i'll update in a week

flower day 43

plants are 32" and 34"

buds are beginning to fill out a bit should really kick up in a week or two.
i think i'm gonna let these babys go a full 10 weeks as opposed to the 9 week flower cycles i did on the first jack, and the mother i cut these off of.

took some sweet pics too
check it out

i just finished smoking my last jack harvest :(.
i'll have to wait another 4 weeks until these babys are ready to cure luckily i have a power skunk that will be getting chopped on the 18th so i'll only have to cope with my friends beasters for a week and a half before that is done, and after its gone it will be jack time once again.
