1st florida grow questions w/ pictures

I live on the east coast of florida and this my first time growing. I have the plants growing in a screened in back porch with 4 cfls on them. The three bigger plants are 4 weeks old. Two of them are on their 7th set of leaves and the shorter one is on its 6th.
As for the pictsures, the first picture shows one of the plants when it had first sprouted. The first leaves werw a very strange shape... I was wondering if it could be a mutant. Also I'm just wondering in generally if my plants are growing at the rate they should. They are bagseeds so I have no idea what strain. Any tips or criticisms would.be.great. thanks!

I also forgot to mention that I have been growing in organic potting soil, watering with distilled water, using time release nute sticks and organic fruit and veggie pesticide powder because the bugs in florida are crazy. I'm worried the super.high temps and humidity could be slowing the growth of my plants?

most chicks here just pretend to be dudes i guess its easier then dealing with all the dogs >.<
btw welcome to RIU

Tekdc911, thanks lol. And they are in a screened porch so they get a decent amount of.sun but its limited because I have to keep them in boxes (its still.illegal in florida but its on the ballot for next month) each plant has its own cfl hanging about two inches above it. The 4th cfl is for my threw new seedling which just got.their.first leaves

i mean they look to be ok, healthy, for a month they do seem a bit small but
there is always a akward phase at the start ........... ummm sorry avatar distracted me ( makes me miss florida ) what was i saying ......
in all honesty im on the third coast and my outdoor is doing fine in the heat
the cfl's are to keep them from going into flower or for actual growth ?
whats the actual wattage on them ?
have they shown sex yet ?

They are fine. Speedy growth depends on strain and how much light they are receiving. Cfl will make them grow but must be kept very close as the intensity of them are not as strong as the sun on hid lights. If you can try to let them get as much sun as they can before putting them back under the cfls. Should help speed them a lil but from what I see everything is just fine. Your gonna need to transplant them into bigger pots cus keeping hem in that small pot will stunt growth and cause them to become root bound. Get them in bigger pots soon as you can to prevent this

could just be different pheno's ....
thats the actual wattage ? are they the size of a football ? if not then the wattage is actually alot lower and that is just the estimated equivalent compared to incandescent
honestly i would just let them flower its that time of the year and they have to veg until sexually mature anyway

I wanted to wait another month in veg until october because that's when the sunlight here is 12/12. I was planning on matching my cfls with the sun so that there is no light in my dark period

The actual.watts used is 13 lol. And no indoors is not an option.
i got ya ... it takes a few 13 w bulbs to make a difference to be honest as suggested earlier a larger pot may help
also as a side note alot of sativa's do most of their growing / stretching during flower

sounds like youve done your research and maybe just over analyzing a bit ....... females seem to be good at that :P

they should be fine keep us updated :D

Sweet. Thanks to everyone who replied. Guess I'm going to transplant them to bigger.containers.and I'm going to try and take them out in the sun more often when my creepy neighbors aren't watching me. Also going to see about getting more/more powerful lights because I have three more.babies.that just sprouted their first true leaves.
