hey guys how's it goin. This is my "test" plant from some bag seed that I've been working with in my 2x2x4 grow box. Looking healthy so I'm guessing I have a stable grow environment. I have some blue dream seeds from Amsterdam. That is the main reason for the grow box. But this little baby has some possible signs of being female?!? More so a question than a statement haha. Anyways I got 1 BD seed is some soil. I actually just moved the jiffy pot into a dark spot near my air vents behind my grow box. It's the same temp as the inside but nice and dark to keep soil moist.

Anyways my grow box has 2 80mm fans running on low setting currently. One intake at the bottom and exhaust at the top. Both vent into my 700sft band space. Currently the band room is always set at 60F given the winter/early spring months. The box averages from 75-85F during the day. Usually stays at about 81F. Slowly dropping during night hours. Never bellow 60F. And average 25-30% humidity. I run at 18/6. And I have 4 big ass CFLs. 5500k 60w each. Florescent lighting equivalence 250w each if that means anything haha. Im using an organic starting soil mixed with MG cacti blend. It has perlite and sand in it to help with water and aeration. Started adding light nutes to the plant. Very light with a 2-2-2 water mixture. I'm new. But I've done some research and wanting to learn more!

Pictures are at the beginning of week 3 from sprout.

Ok. I see the little hairs coming up between the tiers but I was told I won't know for sure until I flip to flowering. Everything else seems pretty good tho? As far as Health wise. Recommendations on the grow box or plant? I will be going SCROG but probably for the blue dream. Like I said this is the test plant basically and I will probably make a grow box just for this one to flower.

I will also be buying my nutes from local stores like Home Depot, Walmart, or gardening centers. Any recommendations on what to get from these stores? I prefer my feeding to be done through watering. And as organic as possible.

Here's some updated pics. Topped once, waiting for more growth. Bag seed is looking nice. I raised the lights a little today. Get it to stretch just a bit. BLUE DREAM HAS SPROUTED!!! Female seed from Amsterdam. Gonna SCROG it. The bag seed will be moved into a box I made when the time comes.

Can't wait for the Blue Dream to start taking off! Hopefully she will be a beauty. I'm amazed every day at the growth of the bag seed plant. Hoping that one is female. I'll be moving it to another box for the flip to 12/12. Still need to buy the CFLs for that box. Only room for two socket bulb outlet. Recommendations? I might upgrade to a 3 way split. All 2700k or should I mix? And do these run hotter than the 5500k-6000k bulbs? It's a slightly smaller space than the main box so heat is my concern.

No :( they are like 25w. Home cheapo has a crappy selection. Bought these 5500k big grow CFLs online. Should have done the same with the 6500K but it was a last minute idea to add them. And I'm impatient sometimes. Light is light so I imagine it's doing something. Might look around today for ones with more watts.

nice looking plants! I've grown bag seed a few times from primo herb (back in the day when everything had seeds haha), it's always a fun roll of the dice!

at the moment I only veg with cfl but I've taken to harvest a few plants from sprout to finish with just cfl. best advice, pack the lights in, keep them as close as possible (it'll be just a few inches max) and scrog them out for best return.

here's a good reference of pretty solid advice for cfl growing. http://www.growweedeasy.com/cfls

best of luck, looks like you're heading in the right direction!

i think this is gonna be nice and bushy!! Little nodes are taking off. Hope it's a female! Otherwise I have to wait for the blue dream to play catch up! Good for a testing plant none the less.
take another picture from the side showing its profile better if you get a chance. looking pretty squaty and not too stretched out, can't ever say for certain until she shows proof positive but I'd be getting pretty stoked that it's looking favorable.

how far along are they? sorry if I overlooked that.
