So we are in need of some seeds and a new lighting source after my HPS ballast fucking died on me 3 wks into last crop. Had to run out and get some CFLs to flower my plants which were all showing pistils. Now it's about time for another little indoor run. Thing is, we're broke and we also need seeds. So, I've decided to use the 3 sockets / CFL lamps I had left over from last grow to make a simple reflector out of shit I had laying around already. The key was to be resourceful and not spend any money on a new light. Aluminum turkey pan makes a great little reflector. I used zip-ties and nylon rope to hang the lamp from a hook in the ceiling. Puts out 12,600 Lumens and looks like it will work much better than using 3 separate lamps in 3-different locations in the garden. This time, all those lumens will beam down from one concentrated source. I consider it an improvement from the previous set up mainly due to reasons I mentioned above. Now I can spend a little more on seeds !!
