Day 91

Past week maintained a no change holding pattern, watering twice, more of the same diet, focused lights and engulfed in circulating cooling breezes.

Amazing past week, four days ago she was "towel snapped" with a full buffet of nutrients, two days later she responded with new white pistils throughout, this may very well be her last real big push.
Calyx's are beginning to swell up and are filling-in her nicely, bud structure is super tight and very firm and deserves a compliment to the breeder of this wonderful cheese candy strain. a real athlete

I am but just the observer for now, not knowing exactly how this will really end up, hopefully maintaining more new growth for a few more days......

Looking forward and moving along as she matures and the anticipation of the unknown end is very exciting.

So steady as we go....the word of the day is......

HOLD! HOLD!

The wood dowels are wicking moisture out of your bin, I might have screwed those onto the outside with a screw or 4 per support from the inside of the bin outward into the dowel. The screws might rust so get the correct type if you do for your next grow, will give your plant a little more room too.

I like how clean the setup is.

That looks like an auto to me. Is it? If so splendid job both ways if its not an auto, i was thinking on getting a couple of those 150w systems but didnt cause i didnt know how it'd be. I might just have to in the future, great grow.

Not an Auto... she sleeps 12 hrs. a day. Delicious Seeds "Cheese Candy"

The light is okay for this particular small closet grow, performance is acceptable, good light penetration even for this tall (36") beauty, light footprint is about 18" and not really square. Temps kept easily in check with a small 12" fan blowing up and across the bulb from behind along with another osculating fan form the lower front, keeps things nice and cool.

But really if I did not have the side lights along with.... it would totally suck for this set up..

Oh ok, she looked like an auto due to her leaves, looks very similar to mine. I dont think i will be getting that light than if my tents are too big. Electricity is a major wallet emptier here. It costed me 120/month to run my 400w ballast. So yeah, everyones getting raped from power facility. Everythings three-six times more expensive in barrow, as always. Thats why i chose leds cause they use alot less power..

Day 98

Very productive flower growth last week, watered twice, fed same diet and focused light and cool breezes.

In numbered days reality she would now be on day 62 of the flowering cycle and still growing, granted at a slowed pace but steady growth and has put on some serious weight over the last week. Now consuming the stored up nitrogen in leafs to supplement the restricted nitrogen diet and important for these end times.

Now consider how some of us select our subjects (seeds) specifically flowering time and how often breeders with strains that list flowering time as LONG are simply passed over. I believe there is a strong incentive to fudge the numbers.
So you expect 62 days of flower and then accept the odd premise to start FLUSHING your soil 10 days to two weeks prior to harvest. That would have been on day 50 for me and a total disaster, kicking the legs out from under her right when she needs you the most. Sure she'd finished up in 62, but only because she's starving and dying.

Not giving up on her has been fruitful, she's got some more to run and I'll support her desire to live and amaze.

PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP ON ME !

Looks like great results! As I've said in a few other threads, I'm still a big novice, I'd be really happy if mine turn out anywhere near that nice. Great photos by the way.

Looking forward to seeing the final product and I'm curious what your dried yeild will be.

Thanks,

Favorite for this pot size (2.5 gallon) is a blend of Fox Farm Ocean Forest and a soiiless coco based grow media by Botanicare the aeration formula. Mixed at 2 parts FF and one part Botanicare.

Holds a full gallon of water in this sized container, allows for a twice a week watering which is exactly my style.

an incredible media blend.... I lean no other way for now....

Day 100

On day one (dry seed) August 23rd. post #3 my stated goal is for a 100 day grow period. Considering all the variables associated cultivating marijuana no allowance for any setbacks or delays would keep her on course.

SHOULD SHE STAY or SHOULD SHE GO ?

She will STAY for now.....
